Hey shill. Its perfectly normal to request personal time off to pursue a hobby. The fact that you think its ridiculous is of no concern. Imagine taking time off for something you enjoyed only to know it was wasted.

My sympathies, perhaps you can find someone to trade some time with (if your work situation would allow such).
I know it sucks but would you really rather playing a broken half balanced mess with the time off you have? Seems a bit like lamenting that dinner is only half cooked and you have to go work. Yes it sucks and some annoyance/anger over bad timing could well be in order. But did you really want half cooked potatoes and still rare chicken being put on the table?
I’m sorry that your life revolves around this game so much that you can’t think of anything else to do with a week off. That’s truly troubling.

I truly wish the worst thing in my life was that my time off doesn’t correspond with the release of a video game. It must rock to be the OP.

That’s a thing? People take time off work to play a video game?
Never take off for release week but I can see people that chose 2-3 weeks after or near Thanksgiving. You could maybe just spend time with family?
and all those poeple are pissed for the delay the ones cheery are born rich or having their parents pay for everything while they snooze away the year not being treated like trash as an essential worker year long being stepp on by the government first in line for the disease as well

I am an essential worker who had to be in the office all but two weeks.
I paid my own way through life (had my first job in elementary school).
I currently financially support my parents.
You do not speak for me and your anger is misplaced and outright disturbing. It is a freeking game that was delayed for quality purposes.
i mean the hard real workers who are at risk, manual labor not protected office types and work from home types the ones that if all went on strike the whole world would stop. the ones who needed hazard pay, the ones actually dying and being overworked and driven insane while the government does nothing but spoil those who dont even attempt to find jobs
Lol I love how your post keeps getting added onto. I also love how you keep bringing up the government when I responded to you bring up “people who are happy with the delay”. Maybe you don’t understand that nobody is happy it is delayed, but many of use are happy that Blizzard realized it was not ready and are fixing it even if it means a delay?
People take off work to watch a football game, weave baskets underwater, drink beer in nothing but socks, and many other things.
So yes, people take off time to play video games, it’s a hobby.

in my entire time playing this game, which is 14 years I have never once taken a day off work to play wow

Just going to take a second week off instead of requesting my week off moved, will play whatever is around and get paid for it.

Why be mad at anyone? No one could have seen this coming. Blizzard has never delayed something that already has a hard date attached.
I’m just soured cause I was looking forward to the end of the month and no I have no clue when to look forward to it again, I just want a new date.
