No it’s not the consequences of the token. This is the consequences of a brand new expansion just coming out. Prices for new items always skyrocket at the beginning of an expansion. Every time. No exceptions. And it was like that before the token was even a thing.
If you want to be on the bleeding edge of your chosen profession then yes you’re going to have to grind your face off in order to do it. Or you can just be like the average player and just wait a few weeks as the prices drop.
I remember when Saronite ore was 375k for only a half stack (10) in the first few days of Wrath launch. No tokens then… soo?
This brand new expansion made mat reqs ridiculous. You will see. The prices are insane now, but even when they drop, the mat costs on this are insane.
Change what though? Human nature? Supply and demand?
things are crazy expensive right now because there is a really high demand for it and since everything is brand new there’s next to no supply by comparison. That’s why things are so expensive right now.

You seem to think I am whining about current mat prices. I am whining about the insane mat reqs to craft high rank legos. It doesn’t matter. They could make the crystals free and it would still be insane. Look at the cost from just vendor mats alone.
