I think if you participated in previous betas, you would see things differently.
This beta was WAY ahead of schedule compared to BFA especially, yet BFA launched on time in a very non-complete state.
This expansion was complete months ago, and they only delayed it because they wanted to make a bunch of changes to it, seemingly.
World quests can be used to level toons now, and also there are world quests that help you level your profession directly.
I agree, instead of tons of WQ, why not just make tons of dungeons and raids?
Wrath has 16 dungeons with loads of dailies. Why did the devs go away from that successful model?
If you mean conquest rewards for bgs. Well they taken that away and now can only get them doing rated bgs only. Until they fix it back the old the way me and my wife are never buying SL. Welfare really.

But I find that most people who buy the tokens are the people who generally have lives and are not able to just ritualistically Farm gold or materials all the time.
And besides I see somebody spending $20 on the game so they can have more fun as just more money blizzard can put back into the game and less of a chance that we see a decline in services. It doesnât affect me at all if John Smith from Utah spends $20 for $100,000 gold.
I just donât like the incentives it creates. Like we are seeing that now with profs gated behind a massive 1 mil+ g grind.
If you need mats, go out into the world and get them?
A tip for enchanting is that there is a treasure somewhere that gives an epic shard seemingly every time.
I didnât participate in this, but many of my guildies just brought their army of alts all out there to get it.
Otherwise, you need to scrap epics, of which there is a limited supply of right now.
You canât get them without buying. The sources for epics is LIMITED. Unless you want me to roll 50 enchanter alts and run mythicsâŚ
The WQ should scale with ilvl. It instead scaled with renown. Horrible design! SAD!

The only reason that things are so expensive right now is because everything is brand new. Slabs of meat are not going to be a thousand gold and pieces of cloth are not going to be going for those kinds of amounts either.
In just a month or two that one million gold grind is going to be whittled down to something much much more manageable. Just have a little patience.

OP is a known complainer on these forums with an unrealistic expectation.
IE they wanted a heroic raid vendor because they didnt want to do that content and just wanted the gear.
