… and now I can’t play WoW. At least easily. Looks like my season might have been cut a little short. It looks like I have weeks of physical therapy ahead of me!
Are there any games that you all recommend on PC that I can play with one hand (and using mostly a mouse?)
Just need an hdmi cable between the switch port and your monitor and to have the power supply connected to the switch console, select the hdmi input on your monitor and it’s good to go (doesn’t work with Switch Lite)
If you have a 12 button mouse, I have a havoc DH build that’s actually sort of okay. About 73% of optimal simdps, nothing amazing but can be done on one mouse
Check out the Battletech Game on Steam (or you can get it really cheap at good key seller sites for Steam).
It’s mostly one handed mouse play, with tab targeting, and that can be assigned to your mouse. There really are very few actual key strokes in the game.
Not to mention there are some freaking AMAZING mods for the game like Battletech 3025 Commanders Edition, which is basically a fan made expansion that’s honestly better than the base game.
Tons of Mechs blowing up Mechs. Plus you deal with random story events, and manage your Mercenary business amongst the inner sphere. 3025 has a complete timeline that includes the Clan invasions and beyond. You could easily rack up hundreds of hours if not more in a single career mode. Plus the campaign story is pretty darn good too!
If you like turn based games, you will love Battletech!!
If you lean your chair all the way back and only put your wrists on your desk while resting your arms on the arm rests, your shoulder pain should be minimal.
Put your keyboard at the edge of your desk too.
Make sure your chair height is properly adjusted for max comfort.
Basically just like the fat guy from the wow south park episode (not cartman)
I read an article (well, I only read the headline) about someone beating Melania in Elden Ring with one hand. I’ve never played the game so I don’t know if that’s an accomplishment or not, but you could give it a shot. Or maybe turn-based strategy games like Civilization?
I hope your recovery is quick and as painless as it can be.
Just be careful with it, I had a household member get a torn rotator cuff and they just tore it worse going back to work and now they’re too disabled to do anything.
