When I log into my WoW Classic account it logs me out of retail. How am I supposed to burn through the long que times if I can’t even work on my character on retail while I’m waiting for the several hour que to pass?
Please make it so we can play both games at once!!

Go old school. Read a book while you wait
This is no time for jokes.
If the wait is as long as we are guessing there will be enough time for jokes, dinner, finish your algebra homework

I like Stephen King, the Dragon Joust series, the Telmeraire series, March Upcountry, Pyramid Scheme. And if I am feeling nostalgic for the stuff I read as a kid I’ll whip out Animorphs, the Tortall books, The Enchanted Forest Chronicles and the much overused Harry Potter
If you’re looking for science fiction, I’d recommend the Lost Fleet series, or for something mainstream, The Expanse series.

Cross linking my thought process on why that is not as easy as it sounds.
Speculating on why, Classic is built as a layer off of retail. They sort of Forked the client to allow both to work without having to completely install components of the game twice.
Multiboxers run multiple clients from the same computer so the issue isn’t on the player end.
