I thought we could transfer gold across servers with the Warband Bank?

I see we can transfer “currency” across servers but cannot find a way to send gold currency across servers. Am I mistaken that we can do that, or is it just not working?

I read that you deposit the gold in the warband bank. Is that not working?

You put it in your warbound bank as far as I know, I have no idea if they are even working yet. Not checked.

can’t you just deposit it into the bank? I haven’t tried it yet

Sounds like nobody wants to be the first to try it, but everyone suggests it for someone else.

Open your bank, there should be buttons for it? Deposit & Withdraw.
Idk tho, that may be something ElvUI added. That’s how it is on my screen.

Warbank interface is the same as the guild bank interface. Withdraw/deposit buttons are in the bottom right corner.

I figure it out.

  1. Open bank tab for “Warband Bank”
  2. Press the “Deposit” button in the bottom right corner.
  3. Enter amount of gold to deposit and press enter

That’s pretty cool!

I deposited a bit of gold in my bank from secondary servers and it appears on my primary server. Withdrawing very small amounts (500 gold) and it worked for me.

Too bad there wasn’t like 30 content creators to make a video about this. Or maybe a few WoW head articles. Or better yet blizzard putting out a post about this.

If it works like a guild bank will I have to get an officer to withdraw stuff from it only to have them tell me to ask the guild leader then have him tell me to talk to an officer again?

:stuck_out_tongue: I had to take this moment to mock guild banks…. It needed to be done.

Because it’s been eating people’s gold since it’s been implemented so naturally people are too scared to try.
There’s a note from blizz saying they disabled the bank earlier today nonetheless.

you deposit it into your warband bank the same way you would a guild bank, did it myself earlier.
