I thought that I was anti-RDF. I was wrong

RDF was a great way to keep running dungeons after locked and was very fun to see who you were going to play with next. There are zero downsides to it. People that want it taken out are casuals that want to force people to not have fun.

I love the jab at the end that pretends all the millions of people that loved WoW when it was out were unemployed teenagers rather than acknowledging that a wide spectrum of ages and lifestyles have always played this game.

Maybe if you are on a smaller server than I could see someone being held accountable in today’s Classic, TBC and Wrath if they we’re to be toxic or ninja looted an item that does not benefit them but if you are on a mega server like Benediction, Faerlina, Pagle, Whitemane and Sulfuras being held accountable on those servers requires being scum of the earth toxic to even be held accountable within those servers.

Even if you somehow got the attention of the server base because you were toxic, you could spend money to name change, you could also change your appearance at the barbershop and soon to be coming is race change if you refuse to take any accountability and want an easy way out of a server blacklist.

The problem is you can’t make a system that helps lower toxicity and I have said in previous posts, Toxicity is still going to happen regardless how the group is formed either automated or manually formed, I have witnessed some toxic players in manually formed groups and witnessed some toxic players in automated form groups aswell and the way the players play games now and days.

The only thing that will help lower toxicity is that Blizzard would need to take action on those reports of where someone was toxic and depending on the severity of the case either apply a silence or a suspension on the person that was toxic but lets be real here, this is Blizzard and they would probably never take it seriously where unlike Square Enix is taking reports seriously in FFXIV.

Cross server functionality wasn’t introduced until later, if memory serves. I agree the damage buff is unnecessary. I don’t understand the opposition to teleportation. People keep acting like afking on boats and flight paths makes the world feel alive even though the majority of the group is eventually teleported anyway. Making 2 people afk travel to an instance entrance is apparently just an essential element of the mmorpg experience. The outside instance quests being non-elite now makes this whole enterprise kind of silly.

I thought I didn’t like people resurrecting zombie threads, but I get it now… this is amusing for some reason.
