I thought restrictions on your first DK were gone?

Evening all.

So I’m waiting for classic hardcore realms to open and had the bright idea of playing some Wotlk classic in the meantime. Browsed the internet and read in multiple places that the level 55 restriction to create a DK was gone in classic.

Brilliant I thought, I’d like to play that since I never played one much in the olden days.

So I install, boot up, try to make a DK, and it tells me I need a level 55 character on the realm to create a DK.

I have no other characters at all in classic wotlk, so to me, according to the requirements, I should not be restricted from creating a DK like a year after it came out.

What’s up doc?

They put that back in a while ago now. Time to get started leveling or buy a boost.
