Just curious why you feel thats better? DK moves awfully slow.

yeah…thats the reason I never tried it.
I bought some low level feet, put Pandaren step enchant to speed up a tiny bit… adds 10% or so, I think
Still thought it’d be too slow, but the OUtbreak kills mobs pretty much instantly and the Rang gathers it all up, so it reduces a lot of that side step traveling if I want to do a full clear of the trash (I always do).
Im actually getting thru not much slower than I would be on druid.
I miss when Starfall didn’t cost astral power, and hit everything in range regardless of aggro status. I had the best time farming on a Boomy back when.

Druid can use loot a rang and enchants too, no? And moves faster and also kills everything instantly.
DK is fine, just don’t see it being better.
Its the outbreak added to it.
It wipes out mobs like instantly without any casting time.
Balance has had an identity crisis for a long time. It’s an unpopular opinion, but I preferred the Cataclysm iteration of Balance. I think Starfall cost a resource in Legion, though, but I had moved onto monk by then.

yeah, I take engineering on every character now so I can use the Rang to farm with. Even if engineering didnt have all the other cool stuff the rang makes it worth taking

casting time. I havent run druid in a while…dont you have to stand still and cast for a second or second and a half each time you pop starfall to clear a mob?
Ah, so you are saying DK is better without having played a druid.
Sunfire is a spammable instant cast aoe dot that will kill most trash mobs in legacy content. Starfall is instant cast and will kill everything that you are in combat with in a huge radius around you.

Now its just fury warrior with jumps.
If your dungeon farming for mounts or other boss specific drops, Druid will always be King due to their teleport spell. I was no where near interested in farming for Rivendares Charger because of the long run back; started farming on a Druid and had it in around 60 kills.
My Druid also got me the Dragon from that Cata dungeon in deep home in 60-70 kills, the dragon from Vortex Pinnacle in around 50 kills etc. Anywhere you can kill the boss, teleport out, and back at the front door to reset and kill again, you can’t do better than Druid.

DH is the best for farming old content. Especially pre-Legion content. There is almost always tricks in every raid to either straight up skip bosses or make routes way faster. Best example is black temple. Climb a chain and you just skipped the whole raid
