A friend of mine claims he deranked from Sergeant to Corporal after the first week of phase 2. He’s still leveling and could not get much honor this week. It only takes like 10 AB wins to gain from rank 3 to 4. Is deranking supposed to still be possible?

Saw a Corporal Priest with Sergeant’s Cloak on, forgot DHKs were a thing so I asked about it, sure enough had the red stain.

I got deranked the instant i hit level 40. Had my title the whole time leveling and poof gone. On a PVE server and did not flag the whole time.
After reading this thread I checked and Im showing 1 dishonorable kill from today (I hit 40 last Saturday). I did no PVP in the last 24 hours and the only PVP i’ve done all week was in STV during Blood Moon so hopefully some low level in STV didn’t get me a DK because who pays attention to levels in there?
There has to be a bug somewhere.
Most likely candidate is a NPC kill …
dishonourable kills come from killing “civilian” NPCs.
It would have been a dishonorable kill which comes from killing enemy faction NPCs that are gray to you.
