I just got home and did a quick underkeep run (ILVL 587 ret paladin) and it felt about as difficult as I remembered the first time I ran it. I haven’t been getting one shot by anything, though the double ascended caster spawn was kind of rough since it’s hard to interrupt them while kiting the melees they have with them.
I think whatever they did to break the solo delves earlier today might have been reverted.
It’s too late now. We’ve already been left behind. The entire player base expects you to have Delve gear or they won’t invite you into M0.
At this point, I’m just gonna PVP. PVP is the last mode left in the game where no one can scrutinize your ilvl arbitrarily.
If I want satisfaction without arbitrary gating, I just go do PVP. I will be bottom on the meter in every raid and dungeon I join, but I guess that’s just the price you have to pay now for this Early Access game.
This feels a bit overdramatic. It’s only been like two-three hours since the hotfix that broke them.
Don’t really care even if they are. Expansion started out promising and ending up being hot garbage.
Yeah at one point the marks add up and it becomes too much.
Farseers like me, aka Dorki and the actual good players already knew Delves were DoA on arrival. It’s not a shocking revelation, we’ve had beta tell us this content is going to be horrendous and guess what? The content is lazy and horrendous, wow!
Are you sure it was broke in the first place cause first thing i did after people said it was broke was run one myself and they felt fine. Is it at all possible when you ran earlier you accidently went a rank above normal or possibly was simply having a bit of an offday and not at your normal skill capacity?
granted its possible They fixed it within the 30mins to 1 hour it took me to try it.
I have been taking heals and dps who are around 590
So no change.
I didn’t run them myself, I was at work. But I saw that people were saying in other threads that a lot of people (way more than I’d imagine to just be coincidence) were saying that the hotfix also broke the solo scaling and they were dying to delves that they could complete on tier 8 before.
Ye just tried a T8 solo a few minutes ago, seemed like normal but will test more later. It was definitely busted when I was doing them shortly after the hotfix though.

I tried it after the hotfix on my ret pally and got clobbered, ill try again later to see how bad it is.

I miss the days when “harder” meant “more complicated mechanics” and not “bigger numbers”…
I mean given the level of crap i see most of the community give any type of player that isn’t playing exactly how they want yes.

I can attest that I think they hotfixed it, before I was being 1-2 shot in fungal, but after a bit I was suddenly able to withstand the mobs and clear it with minimal issues. Waterworks is still a horrendous mess with waxface, that boss is simply overtuned, yet even with a group now it doesn’t feel too bad.
I think to be blunt the set that we have today are probably the worst one of the bunch, and hopefully by tomorrow they’ll push some more hotfixes to bring everything back inline again.
