I think Rogue is just doomed

Less than 4% of all max level players for several expansions.

The few people who still play Rogue have said “It feels clunky, disjointed and worse than every other class” for patches and patches. They’re right, since you can accomplish everything Rogue does with much dumber classes.

No response.

Constant pleas for a total class revamp or rework.

No response.

Demands to know why the designer for the class seems to be on vacation or hiatus.

No response.

Rare ability reworks that do happen make them worse or nerf damage, even if they already suck (Killing Spree).

Try to complain on any social media besides these dead forums? Downvote bombardment, if you get any response at all.

At one point I had someone seriously link me World of Roguecraft as a rebuttal. That video was made 20 years ago. “Well it’s still relevant, you guys stunlock so much.”

Does someone at Blizzard have to steal breast milk out of a fridge wearing full Bloodfang Regalia before action is taken, or what?

at this point, nothing gonna change. well, things will change. but probably not for the better. its only gonna get more blurred. like trying to erase something but you just smudge it all around, so people know what it is, but it looks nothing like its defined version. just messy.

I for one love that rogue is not popular same with evoker and monk

I am usually the only rogue in my BGB sometimes I get another while usually both team have a couple rets , hunt/ lock/ mage each

I still feel i can swing the game by stealing bases, nuking efc, cc healers etc unlike the spec above who mainly just hit their damage buttons and that’s it

Rogue is never going to be popular class unless it’s super OP as the class fantasy just doesn’t fit most players who rather be a wizard, or light swinging paladin than a bandit .

But rogues are always powerful in PvP, it’s just that not every class can or has to be shiny and most retail people just like flashy effects and mogs which rogue doesn’t have
