I think its time we remove T-mog restrictions

That’s why we have shirts. Take off your armor and wear whatever shirt you want in town.

can you change your druid form at the transmog mount, or at any transmog npc?

You can change your face/body type at the barber so why not include forms? It’s all just skins.

Barber shop is where you change druid forms looks.

yup, so not a mog and not relevant

I generally try to mog my Priests into plate looking gear so I can match my DnD Cleric vibes of a war hammer, shield, and mail/plate armor. People say to just play Paladin, but the thing is Paladin is a totally different fantasy from a true caster Battle Priest. I want to have effective hammer swings as a melee while still dishing out serious spell casting that only a Cleric can do.

Its the same idea of a system honestly. Its just a skinned look.

ok well, your opinion is noted.

I and others will disagree.

I’m sure in the future we can look forward to a Healer tier set, a DPS tier set and a Tank tier set.

Because if transmog is not class or armor type specific, why bother designing more than the bare minimum?

I would ignore the elf. It makes posting so much better when someone who dont matter at all cant talk to you.

I can turn a 2h sword into a staff as well as daggers into 1h maces and swords, but for some unknown reason I can’t turn a 2h sword into a 1h weapon. I’d love to be able to but sadly I get the impression that’s never going to happen.

When we have reached a point in game where we can have our character run around in the appearance of just their underwear, and for game purposes still be in full armor, transmog restrictions are obsolete.

I want it the other way around. I want to Xmog my 1 hander into a spear and have a shield and a spear.

No, thank you OP.

Current system strikes a good balance between class flavor and mog flexibility through cosmetics.

Never even thought of it like that. That would be pretty cool.

Both sides have good points. Freedom of expression with transmog options vs RPG element of class fantasy. Yes, I know I am transmogged as a farmer while talking about class fantasy. There is a compromise that can be made. Remove the restrictions on quest/crafted gear but leave the restrictions on tiers/ class sets and items that share those models.

This way people get more transmog options and class fantasy still has model identity. It really does not have to be all or nothing.

I agreed because I read topic as “t-bag

I’ve brought this up every expansion for a while now.

An NPC named Meredy can make me look like an ogre, but I can’t make cloth look like plate?

That’s the dumbest magic logic I’ve ever seen.

The Valkyr in Oden’s Warrior hall do it so its already animated. I think it would look really good with some Xmogs.

At least as far as a character that can wear plate should be able to wear cloth. If you can equip it, you should be able to mog it. IMHO.
