Its time to let us Enchantment shields with looks like weapons, its also time for a Legendary Shield, we have had weapons and other slots but not a shield yet.

Odd feeling a legendary shield would make a lot of people upset like the legendary axe did back in Emerald dream. What they could do though… legendary shield in goblin patch then a legendary stave that’s a rebuilt and maybe void twisted version of the staff Xala broke so the spell casters and maybe stave wielders in general get some love too rather than ignored for the umpteenth time in the patch after that deals with the voidlords and such supposedly

Or just a simple fix, Legendary for all example
The Legendary quest gives all slots
1H weapon
2H weapon
Shield
Range
But for 1H and SHield uses you have to pick which one you really want.
gives one of each, so you get one for your class regardless of class you do it on, just if you want Said weapon on Said toon got to do it on that toon to get it use it, other wise you just get the mog look…if this makes since i hope.

Would be nice hopefully soon, I also wish we could change how the SHields are mounted some look weird side ways and stuff, also wish we could pick where our Sword sits, Some 1 hands are on back some on side, I want the option to make it so i can put it anywhere back or side.

To let DKs use two shields, so we still can’t wear 1 like the other tanks

Well. They “kind of” did have Legendary shields, in a sense. The artifact weapons from Legion had a legendary quality appearance.
There was also the shields from WoD’s Challenge Mode that were on par, if not better looking than many legendaries even today.

And with good reason. Either the shield is op, and tank classes that don’t use shields aren’t viable. Or the shield is not op, and classes that use shields are forced into a grind just to reach parity.

I mean same can be said about the weapons and other ones we have had, but i do see your point, I just think its time we got one

back ye olde times, legendaries were balanced to be op because both
A: it was expected that not everyone who could get one would get one
B: you got them late enough into a patch for their relevance to be low
This combined with all the extra story attached to them made them feel worthwhile. All of these facts no longer hold true, people complained so legendaries had to be obtainable by everyone, and balance matters until the end of a patch thanks to m+ existing. We can’t have a legendary anymore without it being a letdown in some way.

A legendary is not a perk, it’s a curse.
You’ll be balanced against the other classes regardless, but if yours has a legendary then that will factor into your balancing (aka you’ll be expected to have it) while other classes will still be just as powerful without having to jump through those hoops.

You me and probably countless others all want that I have asked for that multiple times before. Guess the poor DKs get to miss out on another lego…oh darn.

Legendary shield that’s just the belt buckle of a comically oversized raid boss.
The entire quest chain is just figuring out how to make this absurdly large accessory fit on your arm.

people who got upset about the 2hander axe from ED are just silly
warcraft has a long history of legendaries and we should atleast do one lego each expansion. who cares if it pushes a group of spec ahead, its not like theres not a meta already that pushes a group of specs ahead.
no point depriving the game from fun for appease people who are chronically unhappy
frankly all they need to do is make legos not a rng drop and frankly it would be a more enjoyable experience for everyone
