I think it's time for Blizzard to release Druids for the Draenei

Wha–what do you mean you utter  . What prevents Draenei from being taught by Cenarius?

Considering Vulpera take 5% less damage from every first hit, unlike any elf demon hunters who burst into giblets when pulling new groups in M+, I think Vulpera demon hunters would be quite popular. We’re just tougher than the trashiest race in Azeroth.

People around here think each race should be locked inside their own little lore box and never learn from eachother or be curious about eachother’s culture, even after living/fighting together for long enough to have children growing into adults in the melting pot capital cities.

The Kul’thirans learned druidry through drust magic.

The worgen learned druidry from the night elves, and before that they knew a very primitive druidry that they learned and maintained on their own.

You don’t need a “god of the night elves” to become a druid, although you will learn more about druidry as you bond with them.

If mechagnomes still can’t be druids I just don’t even know what we’re doing as a human society anymore.

We’re doing just fine, thanks :slightly_smiling_face:

Y’all were introduced in the first place to have furries feel represented and because they were “bummed” worgen did not have “tails”…

If Blizzard wasn’t so obsessed with pleasing fringe groups, Horde would have gotten Sethrak; the obviously more traditionally horde aesthetic choice and the way cooler option.

But i do have a tail.

see? its right there!

its enchanted so only cool people can see it.

So you see it yes? No? oh.

well that answers one question.

I support it. Why? No logical reason. “Draenei Druid” has a nice ring to it. And that’s how you know if something has legs - if it has a nice ring to it.

I rest my case

It’s hard to get over them being space goats op but I like your points!

What would you lot to see for their forms?

Considering druidism would be gained from azeroth they wouldn’t need to have adapted animal forms from draenor or outland.

I do think elekk would be rad for travel form - a little elephant other people can ride on? Perhaps that would be “bear” form though.

Ravager cat form? That would be outland though.

Like to hear your thoughts on that.

I mean, you guys already have hooves, so travel form is covered.

As a real true life Night elf. I accept your application. Your shapeshift forms can be animals from legion.

I think the Draenei are too trapped suckin from the teats of the Light to swap to being Elune’s latest. Plus they’re aliens so like yknow, no real connection to the “Earth”, as it were. And I think using those Lost Ones isn’t a great example, in vanilla and tbc they’d just sort of toss abilities on things sort of willy nilly, lotta murlocs who hit you with light spells out in Westfall, should we recruit them as the newest paladins too? Seems sort of reminiscent of the old Warcraft days where there weren’t such squarely defined classes, and it just seems like cherry picking as do most of your examples.

Am I opposed to it wholesale? Nah, but I sure wouldn’t want to have to be the one to come up with animal forms for the space goats. Between their love of the Light, and being these like advanced space guys, I don’t see them becoming tree hugging nature boys, or Elune converts. And no, shamanism isn’t the same thing before that gets used as a “gotcha” card.

Nope that would be pandas.

The four August Celestials are wild gods so the basis for them being druids is right there, waiting for Blizzard to expand on their lore.

you aren’t born into being a druid. you can learn it’s ways right? lol

I don’t know about Draenies loving nature, but I am definitely pro 'Light Forged Druid"

Maybe. You have to have the aptitude for it.

Druids are definitely taught how to shapeshift and use Druidic magic. Many of the races we have that can become Druids encountered and learned nature magic first before learning how to harness druidic magic. It seems that a connection can be created in many ways. Trolls for example, the first ones to learn Druidism by Gonk were actually priests. The trolls had no direct connection to Druidism besides loa which they didn’t understand, they were actually practicing magic as witch doctors!

The only new druid I want to see is Dracthyr with dragon forms.

This thread is a real goldmine of nonsensical lore takes.

That said, we don’t really need any new druids as we’ll probably end up getting the half-troll druids at some point.
