I think it's time for Blizzard to get back to basics

Understand 2 things. 1, most of this was already in the game and worked . The only change I would like to see is crafting professions making more gear. And the elimination of excessive RNG/stupid timesinks. 2, if you like things the way they are in the game, I’m not here to trash you. This is only my opinion. So put your flamethrowers away.

No more catch-up mechanics. Since players aren’t sinking countless months into stupid necklaces and artifact weps, they will have the time to run through dungeons/raids to catch up to their friends. Yes this was flawed in the past, and allowed for poaching. But it’s better than only the very latest patch’s content being relevant.

Ever era of this game has had catch up mechanics they are in no way going away
