I’m just fatigued with retail it feels like a live service game that has a lot of tasks to do. Hopefully classic is here to stay and I can slowly play it and grow my character while playing other steam games like BG3 and SM2. I don’t know but I think I like the idea of rpg that starts out slow and builds into a strong character with all the perks.
Fun fact. This is exactly what an MMO is. Frequent patches to keep us engaged. The problem with classis wow is you eventually run out of things to do. So they update it with the next expansion/patch content like Cataclysm Classic, or try something new like Season or Discovery.
Sorry this got posted on the wrong forums by accident.
Yea you’re right an MMO is a live service game, but I feel that World of Warcraft is closer to Diablo 4 and Call of Duty as a live service with frequent cadence patches and new content where Classic feels like an MMORPG to me with more emphasis on an rpg feel.
Anyways it was the wrong forums it doesn’t matter.
