I wouldn’t be 100% sure that it is user error - Microsoft has a history of pushing out patches that have issues.
You might try the .NET section of known issues if you feel comfortable running commands.
If you reinstall from the ground up, do a full format of the drive. Might not be necessary, but you will be assured that your drive is functioning properly. Do it only if you are doing a full Windows reinstall just to be sure.
They literally got Microsoft to back-port DirectX12 to Windows 7 when MS said they weren’t going to as even security support was ending. Clark you really can say the most hilarious things.
I did a fresh install of windows 11. And it is fixed.
Such a pain, thank you all for the help. That was so weird.
Good to hear you got it resolved. I would recommend making a system restore point now just so you have a point to go back to if it happens again.
I will, I usually disable that because I have never had luck with restoring but will try again if anything happens in the future. Thank you for all your help.
I’m going to wait until the last minute to switch over to 11. 10 is working pretty good right now.
Pc doesn’t work… u have to buy a new pc
Microsoft took the Blizzard approach to pushing out patches.
I think they did beak (lol break*) it. Everything was fine till the latest update. I did download the update on my fresh install and it is fine.
It’s just a mystery at this point. GG windows
It’s a symptom of everyone trying to push Agile and Continuous Delivery. It’s a real shame - things are pushed out without any real proper bug or regression testing anymore. It’s all about getting that feature pushed out within the 2-week sprint. This is a problem with any company anymore and it sucks.
