I think I’m a racist

Honestly, if I’m in a dungeon and a hunter joins and they are a night elf, I instantly assume this guy is a moron and is going to wipe us.

But when it’s a dwarf, I think this guy is going to be trapping, marking, pet off growl, and everything.

Same goes for other races and class combos. Gnome mage is going to be a rage-y little Aggro puller who makes no water/food and yells at the tank for not having enough threat, while a female human mage is going to set you up for the dungeon and for questing later on.

As a night elf hunter, I shall prove to you, not all night elf hunters are dummies.

It’s okay, Dwarves are literally just the best race in the game. It’s hard for others to compete.

Dwarves are meh at best.

There is truth to this because humans tend to have female characteristics when playing a female char, i.e. being more caring, and pretending to be a girl when there’s a dude playing. There’s scientifical proof backing this. Generally, if you play a male stubby d0rfe hunter you have more respect from other males and people generally assume you’re a chad. Female night elf hunters are more pvp oriented and they like to destroy people more.

Well there was also a mindset prevalent in the early days of wow that Male Night Elf hunters were more likely to be huntards because they wanted to be Legolas.

To be fair while the Hunter should still have Growl turned off, in Vanilla it’s not an actual taunt. It just generates a moderate amount of threat.

If you can’t out threat that as a tank, you absolutely will not hold threat against a real DPS.

There is actually 11 classes in vanilla wow.
The hunter and paladin populations are smaller then advertised and are largely made up of imposters who actually play the much more common and well known huntard and ret-tard classes.

Speaking about leveling here. It’s really not that hard to pull aggro off tanks while leveling.

It’s also not that hard to pull aggro off a tank in equal gear as a hunter as it’s one of the few dps classes without a threat reduction talent.

Feign death yo

Yes I am aware, my point is, give a hunter enough time and the will always catch backup to the tank in threat.

Feign death says hi.

Read my previous point.

the growl comes off automatically now in dungeons… At least for my hunter it does which was pretty annoying when I was trying to solo under rot for my inscription 150 quest item…

I was doing as soon as i hit 120 with like 80k hp and sometimes I forgot to turn it back on when my pet died D:… I eventually got all my quest items while soloing if you’re curious.

I know you were just making a point but I hve to point this out just because it fits the post.

A night elf hunter who forgot about feign death. Coincidence?

We call people who play like that huntards. And they should be shunned.

The thing is that while leveling on my Hunter in Vanilla, I would constantly pull aggro off my pet even using Feign Death on cooldown.

As a general rule if you can’t hold threat off the Hunter’s pet, you wont hold threat off the Hunter.
