I think I found the season 4 duelist illusion on wowhead

Follow up on my original post regarding the season 3 illusion.

Upon the announcement of Shadowlands season 4, I thought I would check the Wowhead dressing room to search for an “Eternal” illusion. What I found was the “Eternal Flux” illusion. This DOES NOT appear on the live page. IMO this is the season 4 illusion. I think this is a big step up from the season 3 illusion.

If you want to see the illusion in-game please use the following command on the ptr client (do not include the string in brackets). This does not work on the live client.

/outfit v1 0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,39153,-1,6378,0,0 (Pigsticker Polarm)
/outfit v1 0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,28553,-1,6378,0,0 (Tower of Theramore Staff)

From the dressing room window, you can shift-click to link the illusion in chat and use the illusion on different weapons. Alternatively, you can simply use the Wowhead dressing room to customise.

I feel as if the illusion does not sit right on certain weapons however this should be fixed by launch.

What do you guys think?

This is going to look awesome on my Ret with Paladin themed sets. I like the density of the effect and the pulsing size. Very dope.

If that’s the illusion i’m stoked. That’s basically the TBC healing enchant on steroids, which has been my favourite enchant glow since launch. Might be slightly favourable since it’s just gone from the game lol.

I’m still annoyed they removed that appearance. I remember spending like half a Saturday farming the mats in Zangarmarsh just to have the shiny enchant.

This must have been changed since the post was made, because the illusion doesnt seem to be dense or have a high particle density. based on what i saw on PTR today it looks equivalent to the covenant illusions

It’s just a little gold shimmer/wave that travels along the weapon. Fine, but kind of subtle.

Kind of underwhelming when the first illusion was basically “Sith Lord”, though.

So lame man. The mop and legion ones are sick and we’ll never have something on its level again :confounded: I guess that’s why it’s cool tho…

Still salty that the qualification for enchant was 2.2 in mop and they changed that to duelist in later xpacs if you wanted to xmog it

barely noticeable, can’t even see it on some lighter toned weapons yikes. huge disappointment from what they had before
