I think Garrosh was the winner of 9.1

The mad lad went out in fine orc fashion…#AlphaMaleEnergy

that is all.

Agree. Garrosh is a real man! :muscle:

Of course I will never forgive him for Ashenvale, Silverwing Sentinels and Theramor,
but still he got my respect!

Garrosh not only stole the kill, he also called Thrall a coward while doing so.

If by winning you mean going out in the fashion he absolutely would have wanted to, then yes.

But it still makes me bitter over what might have been.

We could have had something really cool with Garrosh and Thrall coming to terms with each other. In fact, I was REALLY banking on that happening.

It’s a shame to see that this is what Blizzard decided to go with, but I can’t deny that was about the most ‘Garrosh’ thing he could have done.

That “For the Horde” made me feel something. Was it…pride?

I just took it as Garrosh screaming about the hyper-conquest orcy horde he wanted in late MoP, and not the current player horde. He lambasts Thrall in the same cutscene, after all.

Or maybe Garrosh’s final act was a lesson to Thrall. Blood and honor. There is no room for doubt…or remorse. You act and live with the knowledge that you acted based on the information you had at the time.

Thrall is stuck in the past and regrets what he has done with Garrosh and the Horde.

Literally the only one. Everyone else loses. I can’t take six more months of this. I need a resolution.

naw…I think we will have 9.2 in sometime later this year.

Sylvanas will get a trial and but until then, she will be imprisoned for the rest of the expansion or 9.3…so it won’t matter when her new book comes out.

One can hope.

You really have to give credit to the VA, he did an amazing job with that scene. That was like one of the few cutscenes I enjoyed in shadowlands, the animation may have been janky and it was short, but it was like one of the few cutscenes that seemed like there was any passion behind it, and I never even liked Garrosh.

I also loved the shot he takes at Thrall at the end.

He died as he lived. Accomplishing nothing of value. That particular boss was already defeated by the players.

I don’t know. He managed to upset a large number of people in and out of game.

As the great Azhek Ahriman said, “Infamy is infinitely better than ignominy.”

To be fair, Thrall needs a bonk on the head. He’s been nothing but a mope since Garrosh, the peptalk from Saurfang making him feel obligated to lead again, not because he wants to help his people. Thrall HAS been a coward in many ways since he handed over the reins to Garrosh.

Which is why I’m going to subscribe to this.

Patrick always nails Garrosh, gonna miss that hellscream of his.

Or it should serve as warning. Thrall once said “we don’t do stupid things because someone yells “For the Horde”.” A lesson he needs to reassert to the rest of the Horde.

I’ll take a peaceful life of ignominy over only being remember for the harm one causes to the world.

Garrosh disagrees. But that’s fine.

And he is now dust we can move on from him once and for all. Wish I could say the same about Sylvanas but oh well, one step at a time.

Maybe. People were still talking about him after his death in WoD without know he’d make an appearance in a later expansion.
