Ignoring Brann’s terrible pathing, habit for pulling extra mobs, and lack of brain, I think he just hates me…
I was using the Mecha-dino eggs and he would only ever give me 1, MAYBE 2 on a good day, eggs per delve, so I swapped to the football bombs… Well he certainly doesn’t mind spawning those more often, but only right after combat ends when there are no other potential targets in LoS…
Can someone please talk to this guy about his abilities and how to use them right?
I’ll have a chat tonight. He is receptive to conversation especially if I bring up Nerubians and Delve traps.
I think sometimes dude has “one of those days”, says forget this adventure, and just does his own thing (with full intention of killing said adventurer).
Was fighting an elite, having only aggroed the elite. But Brann decide to haul dwarvish buns up and around the next floor and pull the group of elites, non-elites, and pathing elite.
We died. When we rezzed he told me I needed a plan. Never have I wanted to punch a pixel in the face more than that moment.

If it makes you feel any better it’s not just you. He’s used to exploring alone and now he is having to shepherd ungrateful adventurer after ungrateful adventurer thru the same territory over and over and over again. He has other things he would like to be researching, exploring, getting killed by, getting killed over, ect.
No one told him this gig would be so time-consuming. He would quit but he ‘may or may not’ be paying off a debt to society due to a mix-up involving some archaeological items found in his possession at the wrong time. By the wrong people.
So don’t be too hard on him.

Pretty sure Tank Brann calls my Healer “Baka!” (means stupid or idiot in Japanese)!
He also does this weird ASMR whispering that kinda creeps me out.

I think whenever the South Street delve turns up bountiful Brann just rubs his filthy dwarf hands together knowing that it’s time to cause chaos.
It’s like christmas ever other day for the little sadist.
Webs are also important to mention, along with the prevailing wisdom of making physical contact with said webs.

I run delves on anywhere from 4-6 characters in a week (minimum of 4 delves but often the full 8)…3 t11 and 5 t8.
Brann NEVER causes issues “I” also am not directly responsible for. He “never” aggros anything and if he did, there is every argument “I” should’ve pulled mobs back more. Brann literally never dies no matter how much I pull and he pulls his weight on the meters (on my tanks and him as DPS) or keeps me alive quite well on DPS characters.
And from what I understand, Tank Brann is stupid…whic his likely intended precisely because it gives healers something to actually do in the delve. If Brann had competent AI, did big DPS, and was as tanky as he is DPS or heals, the healer would be an auto follow looting bot. He’s likely intentionally stupid and squishy so healers have to press buttons to win too.
He is stupid with his CDs but it also can easily be argued I should be watching them and making sure I’m pulling accordingly to play around those CDs. I do think his egg is bugged…or more likely undocumented nerfed and honestly if it is it would be ok since those dinos are absolutely OP as sin who just demolish any pull they’re given to us in.
I won’t even lie I prefer and would trust my DPS/healer Brann over any random GD person pick.
Brann is also stupid when doing interrupts on stupid stuff.
He really likes to interrupt the lizard explosion in fungal delves, and then his interrupt is on CD on these mushrooms who do casts.
So we need to DPS the lizards down. It would be better to just dodge the explosion and let the lizards self kill with their explosion.
I would prefer to have a Brann pet bar where I can toggle his interrupt on or off.
I was looking for that yesterday to use a ‘move to’ option and a ‘dismiss’!
He brings the snacks and therefore I can live with his idiosyncracies.
Brann, bless his heart, has bad days where is is just … not all there. Senior moment maybe? Maybe he needs more fiber? (Brann Needs Bran???)
I was using tank Brann in Earthcrawl Mines with the little homicidal mine carts. I explained to him several times to NOT stand on the tracks, it’s ouchy. The little guy decided to prove me wrong by trying to catch every single one that came by… turns out I was not wrong.
I gave him a stern lecture. He responded by chasing a butterfly into a mineshaft and going splat.
Tank Bran Cereal is soggy with milk.
