Took a friend of mine about 3000 TW boss kills to get due to its very low drop chance.
It’s turning into a Headless Horseman quest. It took me 8 years to get that mount.
I saw two friends getting it on the same week. The following TW I got it lol
I got it while i was farming tokens for the Heavenly Jade Serpent mount on my Brewmaster all the way back in Legion.
Didn’t even realize it was that rare.
lmao.
Had a friend get it years ago just doing a few to level. He’s LONG since quit. What a waste.
We all need to whine about it being “not fun” so it’ll get the MoP/WoD wb and Love Rocket treatment.

That said, it’s a 1 in 4000 drop from any Timewalking boss. So good luck.

I too was convinced it didn’t exist. This despite seeing it drop twice for other people. Then bam! Last wrath TW we had, it finally dropped for me. I had given up on farming for it due to the insanely low drop rate. Got it after about 2k kills.
run a tank for tw youll thank me later, got it after 1600+ kills and 3 consecutive weeks of TW week runs :)))))))

Got mine sometime in BfA, was doing the Timewalking weekly or whatever, and it dropped.
There’s just a very low chance, but literally every Timewalking boss has a chance to drop it, even the Timewalking Raids like Black Temple. The first one I ever saw drop, dropped in there.
If I had to guess, it’s probably a 1 out of 1,000 droprate.
We definitely need to whine more about that one. I didn’t want them to change it in the first place but since they did, their change was stupid.
It should have the same drop rate as the Brewfast mounts and your alts should get a chance at it.*

You don’t farm it. You’ll just burn out and get frustrated that way. I saw a person get it who recently came back to WoW after a 3 or 4 expansion hiatus who didn’t even know it existed and didn’t even care about it. In fact they didn’t even notice getting it till it was pointed out. I was, at that point, running literally something like 20+ toons through it a week wanting it. Finally got it who knows when expansions later and long since I actually cared anymore.
It should have a badge count. Maybe even something like 9999 badges. Maybe one day it will. Probably not.

Cata doesn’t have a badge mount. We have an infinite dragon dungeon.

I forget when I had it drop, I think it was early Shadowlands or late BfA. That was me doing TW every time it was up, on 6-8 characters, so 30-60 attempts each TW cycle, and during that time I think I saw it drop 5-10 times for first timers before it dropped for me. As in, “Oh cool, is this rare? I just started!”.
How many are there tw mount
TBC, Wrath, MoP, Legion have one, I think.
