A puzzle has been added to the log in window so on my screen the blue ‘Log In’ button ends up covered by the taskbar.
So now I have to go into settings, remove the taskbar, get out of settings, log in by hitting the tiny sliver above the bottom edge of my screen without triggering the taskbar to pop back up, go back into settings and restore the task bar.
Quit fixing things that aren’t broken!!!
Okay, rant over, you can go back to your regularly scheduled program.
Earlier today when I first opened the BNet client it seemed like it was larger than normal, it felt like my desktop was 640 x 480 but the Bnet client was still it’s normal size You can of course resize it but that’s my only guess as to what OP is talking about
There may be some confusion about the button name. The only blue button is the “Play” button on the Launcher screen. For me that is located well above the Windows task bars in either minimised or fullscreen mode. The next button is the red “Enter World” button when selecting a character which is also above the Windows task bar.
If you are having Windows task bar issues you need to take a look at your settings. Sometimes Ive had issues where the task bar has obscured parts of the character action bars which has generally been an issue with the task bar settings resetting for some reason (which I think is due to Windows update issues).
But I wasn’t in the game, I was trying to log into the game and my log in is a narrow vertical window that pops up over my normal screen configuration which includes a task bar at the bottom.
Yes, I should and tried that.
May have actually went to town on my enter button trying to get it to work (much like one does trying to get an elevator to come faster).
Nothing.
And I have never had a puzzle appear before today.
Wait… You don’t HIDE your Windows taskbar?! What kind of monster are you?!
That sounds like the window was resized at some point. Updating graphics drivers and not restarting your computer often changes the size of multiple UI elements in Windows. Restart your computer. If that doesn’t work, hide your taskbar like a normal human being, and try to resize the Blizzard launcher. Blizzard didn’t change the way the launcher is sized. That’s an operating system thing.
