I swear my outlaw GCD is slower today

Am I insane? I don’t think it’s latency, I’ve rebooted and reset everything.

It’s been really noticeable during subterfuge/shadowdance windows without AR.

If you were playing with a dragon feller you’d be benefitting from a metric ton of extra haste; I haven’t logged in today but felt the same way after spam running dungeons in the same situation but as a priest.

(Evoker but what spec? I have no idea.)

Felt like I was in slow motion the next day; Make sure you use slice and dice appropriately!

Another side note is Outlaw is the most connection heavy dps out there. Check your latency just in-case. Dropping packets can really upset the GCD and last-second gaps for Crackshot, etc.

To be clear, rogues have a locked gcd that is not influenced by haste at all. Our base gcd is 1.0 seconds and it doesn’t scale. The only way to change it is by gaining adrenaline rush which reduces it to 0.8s (it doesn’t state this in the tooltip).

Haste will not impact your gcd in anyway, although it will impact your energy gen a bit.

Is it possible you were dropping AR a bit more frequently today?

I didn’t even know this meaning Evoker doesn’t mean a damn thing? Thanks for that.

Only recent outlaw changed Ive’ noticed is SPECIFICALLY Kul’Tiran females do an unholy stupid pistol shot that uses regular rifle animation with both swords stabbing into my arms. I even did the transgender potion, Male KulTiran works. My other 5 rogues I swapped to outlaw to check and Pandaren, Goblin, Velf, Mag’har Orc, and Forsaken all work fine.

… It’s a balancing act!

As long as nobody else has noticed I’ll chalk it up to latency issues on my end.

Was just worried something broke in a patch. Thanks!

Felt this too on my ww…

It doesn’t technically reduce the gcd to 0.8 seconds, but rather reduces the gcd of specific spells to 0.8 seconds. Specifically, it will only lower Dispatch, Slice and Dice, Shiv, Ambush, Blade Flurry, Pistol Shot, Sinister Strike, Ghostly Strike, Between the Eyes, Roll the Bones, Echoing Reprimand, and Sepsis.

Sure which is effectively reducing the gcd to 0.8s since that is every offensive ability we use in combat.

The only things it doesn’t work on are your CCs basically.
