I Support Blizzard Employees

I support what they’re trying to achieve so much that I uninstalled the Battle.net app today and won’t be reinstalling it until Bobby is OUT. Small changes aren’t appropriate in this situation and we need to see something shift dramatically in the company so I stand with Blizzard employees by fully boycotting until serious changes are made.

I’ll go with you. What are we playing? FF14?

You don’t allow them ANY profits. You don’t let them use you as a player metric, you cancel your sub, you don’t make purchases of any kind, and by uninstalling the battle.net app you can ensure you don’t even have access to making purchases.

Sorry my monkey brain is too addicted to do this.
At least until Endwalker releases

Ugh. So many of us are deeply invested in WoW though.

Unfortunately, the Board seems to be staunchly behind Kottick:

Until this gets messier, he doesn’t appear to be going anywhere anytime soon, unless it’s to one of his yachts. :sailboat:

Unfortunately, I don’t virtue signal. But you go on ahead without me.

You realize that the people that would be effected most by that are the middle class employees working at Blizz, right?

Sure. If they want Bobby out though they’ll have to sour his brand. Once he’s a pariah the board will have an easy decision.

It’s not even about Bobby Kotick. I am just tired of my favorite game being butchered by systems, bad stories, low content releases and hopelessly lost devs.

Each person has to do what they feel is right for themselves just don’t go overboard and imply that what you’re doing is in inherently right.

All this does is punish Blizzard Entertainment. So, you’re hurting the very employees you’re claiming to support.

When Blizzard Entertainment starts losing money, do you think that’s going to force changes at the executive level? No, it’s not. It will however make Blizzard Entertainment a target, and Activision-Blizzard will start making cuts to stop bleeding revenue. That will, most likely, take the form of layoffs, and the first employees to go are going to be the ones currently trying to change things for the better.

A coward dies many deaths.

If you need to uninstall an app so you won’t buy anything, you are hopelessly addicted and aren’t going anywhere. Wanna make a real statement, delete your account. Black list battle.net on all your browsing devices. Never set foot in the forums again. Mute them on social media.

Do it, otherwise your just paying lip service.

 based champ

I don’t care if a company literally kills puppies, if I like their product I’m going to keep using it. I don’t let woke politics influence my preferences.

that might be where I draw the line. But seriously , I sort of don’t care. Bobby Whatshisface might be a big money man, but what does he have to do with the game itself? Whatever.

I just bought a level 60 boost :open_mouth:

Are you giving up Nike sneakers, your phone, anything made by or in China?
