The issue is that you want to make the Void Elves into High Elves; you don’t want to be given an option, but want to be validated in your very specific headcanon of what a High Elf is, disregarding what is or might be the actual story of High Elves.
If you are asking for “uncorrupted” High Elves you care less about High Elf lore and more about your personal interpretation of High Elves.
We don’t even know if we are actually getting High Elves through the Void Elves, so at best, this whole point is entirely premature.
