I still will NEVER play a "Void Elf"

That is, unless…

In order to actually play a “Void Elf” and live out my High Elf fantasy, I will REQUIRE the following:

1.) Lighter hair options. Light/platinum blonde, golden blonde, white, etc. Right now, all the “Void Elf” hair color options are dark, swampy tentacle “things.” Yuck. Fix that. I don’t care about “stealing” the Blood Elves’ hair or w/e. Give them whatever they want to make it happen. Use new, unique hair styles/colors if you have to. Anything to actually have some “fair-haired” options going forward.

2.) Entropic Embrace either changed or a glyph or something added so that the animation doesn’t make the character look all “voidy.” Again, I don’t care how you make it happen, just do it. A glyph would be best case scenario since it just adds an option, but doesn’t hurt anyone who doesn’t want the change. But, at the end of the day, I don’t care about being all voidy or the “Void theme” or anything. “Void Elves” were supposed to be High Elves anyways, so even if you have to delete the race in order for High Elves to exist - so be it.

3.) Paladins being added at bare minimum, if not Demon Hunters and Druid or Shaman as well. I don’t care if you have to restrict Paladins to only non-blueberry skin tones or w/e. Just make it happen. Demon Hunters make sense for “Void Elves” and Nightborne. Druid and/or Shaman make sense because some High Elves are buddies with Wild Hammer Dwarves and it could be easily explained by lore. I don’t want a “Void Knight” skin. If you add a “Void Knight” skin, it should be restricted to the blueberries and vice-versa with the normal Paladin skin. But understand this, under no circumstance do I want to be playing my HIGH ELF with fair skin, fair hair, blue eyes and be forced into using corrupted void magic. The whole point of Alliance High Elves is that they are NOT corrupted and didn’t succumb, but rather persevered. This is something you’ve failed to understand with the original “compromise” of “Void Elves.”

4.) “Void Elves” either need to be renamed into something more “all-encompassing” like High Elves or Thalassian Elves or Exiles or something. Obviously I prefer High Elves, but as long as it doesn’t stay “Void Elf” underneath my name, I don’t have a problem with it. Now, listen here. Under no condition can the name remain “Void Elves” because as you can see on the forums, there are too many spiteful and toxic anti-HE’ers who will troll and harass us relentlessly on the forums and in game if you leave it how it is. Not to mention, “Void Elves” should of never been created anyways and were designed to be just a “compromise” for High Elves. Quite frankly, it’s bizarre that now they are being leveraged as one final blockade to deny HE’ers happiness out of spite and malice. To any unbiased spectator watching from the rooftops, it’s quite sadistic and psychotic, but that’s the world we live in now, I’m afraid.

Just don’t use the racial. It’s not like you lose anything from not using it that you wouldn’t lose just by playing a different race.

I now realize that the high elf fans are just as arrogant as the in game high elves.

Perfect fit, but the playable race is void elf, not high elf, don’t play it.

Oh, absolutely. I see no reason why we can’t just have High Elves at this point. Clearly, the original reason why they didn’t want to just give us High Elves in the first place was because they felt they looked too similar to Blood Elvess. That’s why they gave us “Void Elves,” which was a “compromise” for High Elves.

But now that they’ve decided to just give us the same skin tones as Blood Elves, I see no reason why we can’t get what we originally wanted from the get go, which is playable UNCORRUTPED High Elves on the Alliance.

It’s a shame this is the route Blizzard went with. Void Elves were cool and unique, now they’re just a butchered race people will continue to tear apart until they’re not Void Elves anymore.

You have high elves. Both blood elves and void elves are high elves. Play one of those - you can even have blue eyes in SL i hear!

That’s exactly what I plan on doing - until they implement changes that encompass what I’ve addressed in my OP or some variation of them.

Yep. Big fan of the Human changes. Not a bad consolation prize if they aren’t actually going to give us Alliance High Elves even though they are about 90% of the way there already…

Welp too bad I guess. You can look forward to watching all of the high elf fans having fun playing their race. But at least you can keep playing human, and the good news is they’re even giving you new makeup options so you can LOOK like a clown too, since you’re already acting like one. Yay!

I already said I wouldn’t.

Again, like I addressed in the OP, it’s psychotic that the only reason we haven’t gotten playable UNCORRUPTED Alliance High Elves is because literally a loud minority of the playerbase’s happiness condition is that an overwhelming large (majority?) of the population remain unhappy.

Why would anyone be grateful with not getting what they want, especially when they give them almost what they want then snatch it away at the last second because some petulant children think it’s funny.
