Troll or Dwarf for hunter (pick bow or gun).

If you wanted Horde, you wouldnā€™t be thinking about Alliance.

Yes, it was first to be developed, Horde side got less effort put in, the starting zones themselves are golden vanilla experience.

Go play on a private server and test out the models of the races you would be playing on each faction.

If youā€™re gonna have to stare at the same character for years and years better make sure you like the choice you make.

Also you could make an alt on the opposite faction to see the story and zones for some nostalgia without being permanently locked to that faction.

Iā€™ll likely play both but definitely starting alliance. Iā€™ve played Horde much more and more recently so Alliance will be the fresher less remembered experience.

Plus, Iā€™ve heard more Horde players talk about making leveling miserable for alliance where as Allies seem to be more about pvp for pvp sake. Thatā€™s about enjoying the game, not trying to make some other player miserable.

I suck at pvp. But Iā€™m going to get good specifically so Iā€™m can go find Horde bullies and slap their snotty little faces.

Alliance have a much better leveling experience and better cities imo. I think I heard/saw somewhere that the alliance areas were made first and got more attention, and it shows. I leveled a horde and an ally to 60 on nost a few years back and I remember enjoying the alliance areas and quests much more than the hordes. The horde just doesnt have many memorable quest chains or quest hubs, other than the crossroads.

The orc must die.

But thatā€™s because I hate orcs. I can be undead and still hate orcs (and did when I was strictly Horde). Iā€™d say there are quite a few orc hating undead out there, even if they donā€™t advertise.
