FF14 and it’s a change for me but I hope to find my way. I’m playing on Brynhildr I think that is the realm name. Just started and got a learning curve but I will make it.

It’s a fun game, but don’t expect a robust endgame like WoW. Half of the game is the first time play through (don’t rush) and then the other half is end-game glam grinding.
Compared to WoW where it’s 20% leveling/questing and 80% endgame.

I plan to take my time in the game. So far I like the graphics and exploring. This will be my in between game until 9.1 comes out.

I tried it and I just can’t get into that anime art style look of things. Guild Wars 2 kind of had the same response with me. I know a lot of people nowadays really like it more so the younger generation. Maybe I’m just an old fart but I just can’t get into it
Well I’m an older player and I see its a learning curve in FF14 for me. But the graphics are really cool imho.

I don’t know if it’s fair to criticize that game for being anime style (it isn’t nearly so as many others, however) because it’s a final fantasy ip. It would be weird if it wasn’t asian looking.
Now when EQ2 updated their models to look more anime style, THAT was weird.
