Shouldn’t I feel MORE rested?
I feel evenmore tired.
Why are bodies like this?
Why is it like this every time.
Undersleep? tired.
Oversleep? tired.
Sleep just the right amount? still tired but slightly less then the other two options.

Welcome to life. Every aspect of it is exhausting. Don’t worry tho, we only get 60-80ish years of it.
Then ya gotta do it all over again. Without any of the wisdom you learned carrying over. What a grift.
Sounds like you need more exercise.
There could be varying reasons for that.
Maybe a lack of certain vitamins/minerals, or too much, or w.e, I’m no doctor lol.
There’s times I feel sluggish and I know sleeping won’t fix it.
And then I eat something with potassium and I’m awake.
Because of my useless mechanical engineering degrees, I tend to see the human body as a machine made of meat and bone.
So let’s imagine a regular machine. Let’s think of it as a car. And let’s imagine sleep is temperature.
If the temperature is too cold, the car won’t start. But if the temperature is too hot, the car will malfunction. You have to keep that temperature within the operational limits otherwise things won’t function properly and you’re gonna have a bad time.
The same happens with the human body. Too little sleep is bad. Too much sleep is bad. Too little food is bad. Too much food is bad. Etc.
You might have sleep apnea. If you can, get a sleep study done. I did myself, and while it took a bit to get used to the CPAP machine I’ve been sleeping so much better.
Sleep apnea can have really bad long term effects as well, as it reduces the flow of oxygen to your brain as you’re sleeping. If you can get a study done, it’s really worth it, if only to rule it out.
Lack of physical activities,
I slept in today too, I went to bed at 11pm last night and I didn’t wake up till 10:57 am. It was weird, I felt like I could sleep all day but at the same time, I wanted to go play on my computer and do things with my day. I feel like I am 60 years old, I used to be able to stay up till 3-5 am like it was no big deal, but now the latest i go to bed is 12 am or 1 am maybe two
I’m betting it’s because you don’t have a consistent, balanced sleep schedule.
If you got the same number of hours every night, you’d feel a lot better than getting random hours every night.
Also, this isn’t really something you should be asking sweaty nerds on the internet… Go talk to your doctor about your sleep habits if you’re not feeling well.
because rest alone doesn’t make you healthy,
you gotta eat the part and exercise too
if you ate clean, exercise 3+ times a week and sleep 8 hours a day you’d probably feel fantastic
Banana???
Because the way the world works makes us all overworked and thinking of nothing else.
Also you forgot the other option. “You slept great but you had your neck at a weird spot. So now you just have neck pain the whole day”
How’s your diet n exercise regiment?
someone once told me that once you lose sleep you can never catch up to it.
also 1 night of good rest doesn’t make up for years of not sleeping properly…trust me I know
the key is consistent sleep, waking up and sleeping at proper times, getting your circadian rhythm back on track. Proper diet and exercise and stress management are also key. I highly recommend swimming. Not only is it relaxing and a great stress/anxiety reliever but its amazing cardio and you will sleep like a baby.
pretty much everyone has it but if you ignore it long enough you get afib
I get about 4-6 hours of sleep per night. Exercise and vitamins certainly help. I find that I am always groggy in the mornings regardless of how much I sleep but I feel better after a shower.
mental fatigue takes several days of sleep to recover.
keep doing the sleeping thing, it’ll play out eventually.
That’s were caffeine comes into play lol
