According to Wowhead, less than 1% of the entire playerbase has completed BFD and less than 10% of players have even reached level 25.
It’s clear the old formula of Classic where raids have the best gear is no longer working, people are not that interested to speed run the content nor do most of us have time to commit to raiding.
I have kids and a full time job as do most of the others playing SoD, and as casuals we need another way to earn gear besides end game raids.
I hope for the future tiers, we can have multiple methods of obtaining gear that isn’t locked by a raid grind that only 1% of the playerbase can participate in.
Wowhead isn’t at all accurate by the way. It compares total characters to Warcraftlogs runs completed. Not everyone is logging their runs and, not every character raids. These statistics are always grossly inaccurate.
As for loot, it’s very easy to find and raid a BFD 10 man. If you don’t want to make the effort to play the game, don’t play the game. Retail is there for players that don’t want to work for loot and just expect to get it for free.
