I mean if you watch it it’s pretty obvious he is seeing and describing the Maw, but I understand there’s people out there who need blizzard to spell it out for them because they can’t think.
I thought it was more about the shadow of her hand casting him into darkness. Or him seeing the future where I change most of my characters skin tone to the darker options.
I had some doubts as well the first time I saw it about what he was actually seeing because of how it played out, so I just convinced myself that the maw is all he was seeing.
I don’t know, we are playing a game not reality. I am okay with a bit of suspension of disbelief in fiction. So Arthas got a bit flowery with his description of death, there have been worst things done to the lore.
I’m sure on your death bed you’ll be poetic and vague, instead of panicky and afraid. I’m willing to suspend disbelief like a giant afterlife world for living across the galaxy, i’m not wiling to disbelieve human behavior.
have you ever heard of the light leaving someone’s eye as they die? i would say that is what it is. even if you haven’t i promise you’d be able to tell the difference between an alive person’s eye and a dead one. it’s not people being dramatic it’s a real thing a soulless eye is very noticeable
