I saw this fury warrior guide and it seems a bit overwhelming

im a new player and this guide seems a bit overwhelming, ik fury warrior is piss easy but are there any other easy dps classes? i wanna try something else out

Beast Master Hunter, doesn’t get much easier than a hunter.

Frost DK is pretty straight-forward, especially if you go Obliteration instead of BoS.

Warrior is pretty easy, but you can always go hunter. But trust me, if you’re having a hard time learning a new class then I recommend an addon called Conro. It is a great addon if you’re trying to learn your class’s rotation.

Hint: Everything lights up when you play fury.

Fury is among the easiest of melee specs to play.

Havoc DH is easier. BM hunter is easiest of all.

any class will seem overwhelming for any new player if you try to cram it all into 100seconds

i think your choice was good. fury is a good entry point imo. you probably picked that because it looks cool to you and thats pretty much all that matters tbh

His rotation doesn’t strip it down to the core. Fury operates on 1.5 minute cooldowns, with Odyn’s Fury on a 45 second. You use your cooldowns when coming up on a big pack, or pulling a boss, etc. You want to use them as often as possible, but while also being reasonable. (EG: Don’t waste your cooldowns on a pack about to die; hold it for the next, so you get full value.)

Core rotation is on Wowhead’s guide, written by Archimtiros, the foremost warrior theorycrafter.

While specced in Reckless Abandon, your priority will be something like:
Crushing Blow (empowered Raging Blow after Rampage)
Execute (while Enraged)
Bloodbath (if no RB charges, and still Enraged)
Rampage (to Enrage/dump)
If not Enraged/can’t use Rampage:
Execute > Raging Blow > Bloodthirst as filler to build rage up.

General filler regardless: Bloodthirst (ST) or Whirlwind (AoE).

Even more simplified:
Crushing Blow x2 → Rampage (and then Execute/Raging Blow/Bloodthirst until you can Rampage)

I always wanted to play fury warrior, but I tried leveling one and I’ve never had such intense pain in my hand after playing it for a while. Anyone else?

Yes, bad spec if you have carpal tunnel/

Don’t play a dh, have some dignity.

Windwalker is simple to learn and has a decent ceiling to build to.

Fury doesn’t get bladestorm. Depending how you specc whirlwind makes up to 4 single target abilities cleave. You were close, you’ll get there.

Just hit the thing that lights up. You will figure the rest out in time.

Oh god I forgot that fury didn’t have bladestorm anymore

By the way this guys guide is a bit weird. He’s specced into Cold Steel/Hot Blood and he’s prioritizing Crushing/Raging Blow instead of Bloodbath.

I don’t think this YouTuber is actually a warrior player.

The crushing blow build is better right now for almost all content. I’d suggest just looking it up on wowhead. The rotation pretty much revolves around mashing Crushing Blow as much as possible and using rampage to dump.

Subtlety rogue is pretty easy to pick up IMO, at least from the damage angle. The real skill ceiling of rogue is learning how and when to optimize your utility, you’ll be responsible for a lot of stops.
