I said it in a previous post that something like this would happen and that the servers would be non-functional for a day. Those same people who disagreed are now making forum posts crying about it.
Guys, servers will likely be down all night.

I think those with any common sense knew that the way Blizz decided to launch this expack (not on a maintenance day with dedicated time for servers to be down) was a ridiculous noob error.

WoD was pretty smooth. Only DC once the whole launch.
I am living vicariously through the forums. It is nice to see everything going as expected.

WoD and MoP launched rather smoothly as far as WoW launches go if I remember correctly.

Anyways, yeah WoD wasnt bad.
I seem to vaguely recall getting thrown off wod repeatedly and the frame rate going to crap the first few hours it was live. I don’t think I was subbed for the beginning of legion and I strangely don’t remember what happened at the start of bfa, but I’ve had it in my mind that the game will likely not be playable today for quite some time. Was hoping I’d be wrong, but unfortunately here we are.
ok yoda. anyone who has seen a bliz launch knows what to expect…blizzard failing. But by all means pat yourself on the back.

I’m not joking, BC had an incredibly smooth launch. WotLK even had a solid one. After that, pretty much every expansion launch has been garbage, and we pay a monthly fee for this.

Most of us knew it would happen. 
And we’re in Disc with our friends drinking various drinks and laughing with each other. See, you mistake… This IS part of the fun of an new expansion!
