I’m not really gonna cry about it, I just wanna share that I was hoping this anniversary would be a last shot to get the Obsidian Worldbreaker. The problem I had was I joined as the mount was present in the 15th anniversary, but I didn’t have to BFA expansion to be able to get it (I believe I was required that expansion to begin the 3 wings needed to get that achievement).
And Sadly as I got BFA the event was over, I was badly upset since I returned 7 years of not playing WoW to find out the one badass dragon mount I wanted that was literally a Deathwing Mount was now removed.
But I get that its a 15th anniversary Exclusive Mount. I really do, I just wished I had an alternative to get this mount since I was active at the time but wasn’t lucky to get BFA in time to work on the mount.
If any of you wish to call me a crybaby or an entitled brat. So be it, I’m not being entitled entirely for a mount. I’m only expressing my disappointment since this 16th anniversary is a sort of broken atm with Korrak’s Revenge being bugged mostly.
I don’t hate Blizzard and I just wished I had the chance to get the Deathwing mount, as its really the one mount I want atm in my collection.
I just wanted to share the fact I was only hoping for a second chance to get this mount once and for all. I don’t expect any generosity from Blizzard as i understand that mount was only for the 15th anniversary event and I surely respect that. I just wish I had an option to either buy it or grind it once and for all, I don’t mind working my butt for that Mount, all that matters is I have one last chance to obtain it.
Thank you people for just understanding my honest take and I have no intention to say “GIVE ME THE DARN MOUNT DAMMIT” as i never demand such things. After all this is just a game, and I have no expectations to get everything I want in a single snap of a finger. I usually just work my butt off to earn something I want or need.

Yea i agree on that, I hate that feeling everytime. its the painful part i have with this game. I can understand if i don’t get it for a while, but once it disappears as you return its just like “What was the point of even coming back when it just disappeared on me?” and i hate asking myself that

My sub ends at the end of the year, and it’s for that reason I am not coming back.
Ya it sucks, I got it, told a friend and he resubbed to get it lol…
Honestly though it’s just one of those limited time stuff.
I didn’t get a lot of limited time items and wish I did b ut never played then. You just kind of have to accept it’s probably never coming back and move on. I rarely see it anyway now

It occasionally spawns on the BMAH. I missed it too, simply out of shear disinterest for BFA (i remember trying to log on during the event and just being unable to motivate myself to do squat lol).
Oh well, time to hoard some gold.

I feel your pain. I played all through legion. Had every chance in the world to obtain legion weapon xmogs.
I didn’t do one single mage tower.

It appears on the Black Market AH a few times, depending on server, it always hits the 10 million bid eventually.

Having some things limited like say, Gladiator or Raid rewards makes sense. Having anniversary stuff doesn’t. You’re celebrating another year that the game is around what made it ‘good’. It was the same problem with the Motorcycle promotion. You didn’t log in you couldn’t get it…yet later they added one for Alliance but removed the one for Horde (unless they added it back). Or the movie promotion where you got the weapon mogs from the movie.

Yea I agree on what makes sense right there, I just find it baffling how Blizzard makes the anniversary stuff limited time only and even though you were active at that time of celebration but you don’t have the expansion to do the Anniversary Mount Quest for the Obsidian Worldbreaker (Or any Mount that appears for a limited time during the anniversary event) really sucks and is sorta unfair in so many levels, Like I was active at that time with a sub, But didn’t have BFA until after the event.
My only hope is Blizzard rethinks about this mount. I would go grab it in the BMAH but I fear that someone will put over 1M to 10M gold into the Mount making it hard for me to get a chance to have it. Since I only have 170k rn and I don’t want to waste it. If I had 10M Then I wouldn’t have the issue spending a specific amount, But I’m not always on grinding everything in the game like every player is, I just grind what I can grind daily.
I just wish I had a way to convince Blizzard to think about making the mount return for this anniversary at least so more players have a chance to get they’re hands on it, Both new players and Players who missed the chance but were active at that time.

Do I really care what server i stand on? Dead or not, I was in this realm since 2008 and I never chose to leave the realm because of my own decision. If you got a problem with people preferring quiet realms over big overpopulated ones.

I mean dead servers mean less competition on the BMAH, that’s it lol. This toon is on an utterly dead one as well.

I feel ya man. I have a zombie mask on my first runescape character that I haven’t touched in a decade but i wish i could get it on my main. but nah, i can’t get the 2004 halloween event items on my main because he didn’t exist yet
You can’t anymore, new requirements since prepatch to see it is to be max level (level 60).
