Well, I resubbed. Or, rather, I bought a 60 day card and applied it to this account. We are about at about the thirty day point where people who dipped a toe in Classic have to decide to re-up or not. Who else has signed up for more classic?

6 Months here. 
Still not totally happy with what is going on with layering, and other issues, but overall we are having a great time.

I subbed for six months- not just because I see myself playing Classic for that long (I love OG WoW), but because I wanted Blizzard to know that I support their doing Classic in the first place. More of the same, please- fix the bugs, tighten the engine, etc. etc. You got my money, now put it to use!

I’m at 57 on the Warrior, 13 on a Priest, and 17 on a Mage. You got me beat, and I’ve been playing quite a bit. I’m not rushing, but since hitting 50 I’ve been tanking dungeons more or less non-stop (BRD full runs and all), and when I need a break I swap to my clothies for a couple of hours.

I resubbed, haven’t had anything but fun. I think people who aren’t having fun are looking for reasons to not have fun. I get why people are upset about layering, but in the grand scheme of things, is it REALLY hurting your experience that much? Yeah things are cheap, but even on servers that didn’t have phasing (pserver launches, etc) the economy was awful at the start. Once people start hoarding gold and can afford things, it will level out.

I resubbed, classic is amazing and I also need to do hallows end on retail for the mount lol.

I resumed for one month. It ends the night before leaving for a two week Panama Canal cruise, so no reason to sub for more. Overall I’m enjoying it, but having issues wanting to play all kinds of alts! (two of each race that I’ve started, one of every class on each faction = 16 different “Squirrels” to chase!)
Re-subbed yesterday and I’m content with the game, it’s quite a journey.

People are re-subbing based on WoW token prices as proxy. Of course this is only an indicator of retail players who came back to play retail and/or Classic.
Without layering you’ll find it hard to get quests done. There will be so many others tagging mobs.
They moved the game in the right direction with limiting layer hops.

Hahaha… this is my Priest. I’m definitely not rushing either… and didn’t plan on 2 toons this early either.
I started and took the mage to about 35… got a bit bored so I went to priest. I’ve mained both classes over the years. They were both at 38 about 10 days ago and I was torn on which one to main. I ended up choosing the Mage and have taken her to 53 playing the Priest on full rest who just hit 40 yesterday.
Both are 275 alchy/herb for a decent transmute income and now that the Priest has a mount too she just got a lot more fun to play!
The mage is my main and will get 60 while I play the priest a couple times a week on rest. Win win.
I’m happy with my progress… haven’t taken any serious time off work just had a 3 day labor day weekend followed up by a couple more 3 day weekends after that… taking Fridays off work. 
I bought another 30-day game time two days before 26 Sept when the first one would expire.
I will never be happy with layering and it sure doesn’t feel like it will be gone “in a few weeks”, but I’m playing with blinders on to that because I only started this early to level with my brother, sister-in-law, her cousins, and more friends and family beyond that.
It may not be exactly vanilla (definitely isn’t), but it is close enough that I’m having a blast and letting other games I was actively playing slide into the background.
To be honest, I don’t know if I will resub or not. I like classic, but I’ve done the stuff so many times in the past. It’s nice revisiting places from the past, but once the nostalgia wears off and the frustration begins to mount or boredom takes hold…I look for other things to do.
I spent two hours turning in quests today. I barely killed anything. Most of my time was spent traveling, and I was so bored. I ended up closing the game and playing some Ion Fury. After that I will probably play some Blood.
I may resub. I don’t know.
I hit the 6 month sub right before it came out to play in the beta and also get the retail mount. I didn’t really want the mount because it looks like crap but the idea that me mounting it triggers people made me get it. Win Win.

I’ve been playing this game on servers with 10,000 people all on the same layer. Tagging mobs has never been a problem for me.
Layering destroys the game, and people abuse it to no end. We left Herod, which was layer abused, and the economy is ruined on that server. It has nothing to do with tagging mobs.
I dont believe your playing it with 10k people and have never had issues with tagging.
Im on a high pop server and had tons of issues with tagging, layering made it possible to be in zones and only have to deal with a fraction of the people.
As far as the economy, not sure how it is negativly affecting people. Wouldnt everything be much cheaper?
