I removed my pet off my hotbar and now I can't put it back on does anyone know how to fix this

So what exactly did you remove? The pet action bar? or the Call pet?
The pet action bar will be in your interface options.
The call pet will be in your spell book.

i removed the call pet but when i try to put it back on my hot bar it wont

You should be able to open your spell-book, locate the Call Pet ability, and then drag that one ability to your Action Bar\ Hot Bar.
It is probably part of the Pet resources/control button, clicking it will give access to individual commands.
If nothing else, you could probably reset everything by releasing your pet.
