It’s soooooo boring, I should have gone to Moonguard. At least I’d be entertained while being afk. And I don’t even know what the best PvP guilds are, and despite wanting to mostly do PvP and Battlepets, I came to realize, what’s the enjoyment in a mostly PvP guild when everything is all “organized” and “professional” like. Like I wanna have fun and socialize, not just only talk when it’s about queuing for PvP content.
Sadly, I’m trying to save Shmoney, so I’ll transfer next month.

They actually made a post on the MG forums asking if they should transfer there.

Do people get upset if you don’t RP? I’m looking for an active casual server to move to.
They won’t get a cent from me for server transfers. Most of my toons are on dead realms and that’s how it’ll stay unless they provide free transfers
They were on sale this summer, I think. Sadly I was in debt at the time.
No alot of people don’t actually RP, some still have TRP downloaded to see other people’s profiles or to make troll profiles as a joke but it isn’t actually needed and nobody will care so long as you aren’t purposely disruptive of what other people are doing.
There’s also of course like any other realm your choice of guilds, casual, Mythic raiding, M+ and rated pvp…I think we have one the top ten Demonology warlocks in rated pvp on the server, or we did.
Honestly, I want a refund before I rage quit too…Only need more binding of windseeker to mog thunderfury didn’t drop yet again on demon hunter…went back on monk still neither dropped…Went back on prot pally still no luck…Went back on rogue and the Baron GEDDON DROPPED THE VERY BINDING I NEED ON demon hunter! so pissed…wow

one of the funnest thing to do, even if you don’t RP is sit AF and read other peoples TRP profile. Some are cool, others have a LOT of work put into them, then theres the few that you are like WTF is wrong you with and then there are the ones you delete from your brain so you never remember them lol
Cool. My server said in FFXIV is pretty RP heavy. I just stay out of their way and occasionally watch from the side when it’s something interesting.
Stormrage is definitely packed, but I need a change of scenery.

Yes I don’t have TRP anymore because while I got compliments on my mains story I realized I was spending hours on it instead of playing the game and wasn’t getting anything done.

Yeah the community is pretty dull on this server except during high population times like expansion releases. Other than that it’s just a few guilds and their cliques that get stuff done. If you’re an outsider you’re kinda just stuck to PUG everything. That or join a community to get what you want done.

You don’t have to RP if you don’t want to of course. You can watch others do so if you want, but you’re under no requirement to do so. I will say, though, you’ll miss all kinds of neat events that people host often! Markets, shows, tournaments…all sorts of stuff! Wow!
MG has it’s reputation, but it’s really a pretty nice place all in all.
Where are all the Alliance now? I was hoping to avoid mega servers but not sure what else there is right now.

I used to be on a “normal” server and one day switched to MG for an interest in RP. That was back in 2010, and I’m still on MG along with all my alts. It’s easily the best server especially if you download TRP. The game becomes an actual world, people with characters with history, actual personality. Capital cities populated with groups of friends who do things other than sit AFK in the new xpac hub in their queues.
Whenever I hangout with someone on servers like KT I just think it’s less an MMORPG and more like Outriders or an FPS. The city is just the queue lobby, the world doesn’t actually matter.
