I want exorcism back. Especially on holy paladins. Also, crusader strike with a 5.5 sec recharge on holy pallys is too long, And lights hammer should be a 20 second cd. Also, holy shock/light of dawn really ought to have some interaction. For example, if you light of dawn an enemy, they should be vulnerable to holy shock and exorcism, while if you light of dawn after using holy shock it should heal for more.

Paladin would benefit a lot from a 4th spec and a 2nd dps spec in that. Ranged holy damage-dealing “Shockadin” type of Paladin would be cool to see.

blizzard really dropped the ball with Ret this expansion. exorcism AND hammer of wrath need to return. Ret is 100% bland atm.

I was watching a few of my old pvp videos from wrath and thinking the same thing.
How is a sword coming from the ground even part of the “paladin class fantasy”? It doesn’t even make sense

I’ve always thought coming out of the ground was a shaman thing. As I just said in another thread a minute ago, Justice should rain from above. At least make the ability a big golden sword falling on someone like Garen’s ult.
Still would prefer Exorcism though.

I remember in Ashran popping wings and the sheath trinket at the same time and jumping from high ground with the slow fall glyph and killing people before I landed.
Beats me, the only time I’ve seen an attack like that was with War in Darksiders, and he certainly wasn’t a paladin.
Light of Dawn should deal AoE damage vs undead/demons tbh
Yeah, gotta say exorcism is more “paladin” than blade of justice. And at least it wasn’t another “of ” name
