Watching another WilliE video just got me thinking about classic+, blizz adding hardcore stuff like osrs did with ironmen and group ironmen. Twisted leagues, etc… so many better options than TBC in my opinion. It would be a lot more fun to have fresh new content instead of another game thats been theory crafted for 12 years.

Why run a huge risk of a potential downfall of a new expansion than one that is proven good?
Imagine classic+ nerfs/buffs classes. How many people do you think will respond well to that?

the final redpill is that classic+ is objectively a more sound business decision than TBC and if TBC were worth the servers it would have at least one good pserver in its history (it doesn’t, vanilla pservers outlast everything, wotlk is also bad) because TBC is bad
there’s a reason blizzard hasn’t denied the possibility of classic+

exactly… Plus look at OSRS. The game is thriving. granted we gotta trust Blizz… which im not sure about. lol
So how is Classic+ - an expansion of Classic - going to be any different than a TBC or WOTLK release?
This business decision isn’t sound - as it can completely flop with the amount of work required.

I think this is inaccurate, though also irrelevant. Outside of Nostalrius the BC private servers kept up with population of the others. Though private servers arent really indicative of anything, their entire population count isn’t all that impressive.
The pserver players just like putting themselves on pedestals :\

I think Classic + sounds great on paper, but I think the reality of it wouldn’t be nearly as good as that paper.
That doesn’t even get into the argument of what the expectations for what a Classic + server would be.
Classic + in the minds of many would just be adding more content, while for others its seen as a chance to whole sale fix the issues with Vanilla.
I think at the end of the day there is just too much risk, plus much more investment, for Blizzard to ever choose the option over TBC.
All I can think about is OSRS. I played that the day it came out and still enjoy it. Love what they did with it.

I get it but this is a different game with a different set of circumstances and a far different company. Blizzard today is about maximizing profits sadly.
Almost every single tbc private server is either pay to win or riddled with bugs. Warmane has a huge following for their wrath servers. Good try though.
Part of me agrees Blizzard may just ruin the game if they did… The other part of me says no risk no reward…
The Blizzard we have today is not longer filled with gamers. It’s basically a bunch of people who have lost touch with all of us. Just look at Diablo Immortal. I didn’t like BC but I feel Classic+ would be even worse.
Finish Hyjal, Karazan, raid at back of Stratholm etc
Only reason people want TBC is so they can play Blood Elves.
It’s a horrible expansion and was the start of everything wrong with WoW today.
I don’t mind grinding for gold or mats for raiding, or even running dungeons for rep…but what I don’t want is daily quest grinding
