I really hate covenant "choice". I want Abomination Factory but I'm night fae

-Night fae ability is just flat out better for me.

-Same for soulbinds.

Yet… yet… I want abomination factory way more than freaking gardening simulator. To say I am bitter that the necrolord covenant gets their own personal helper in daily missions that also is fully customizable is the understatement of the freaking millenium.

Yet the druid necrolord ability is SO BAD that if I told people in earnest I wanted to roll necrolord they’d laugh at me.

I hate this.

Just play what you want. I love my build a bear but make it zombie

Ps. My zombie is wearing a pirate hat and flag

Yo, I could never do it. Min/maxing in a video game is like doing a swimming sport. I couldn’t turn something I do for fun into a chore. But I get people like being the best of the best…despite many not fitting that bill at all.

Look these abilities are going to be around for only shadowlands. The Tmog, mount, title, etc and the memories of having fun with a Abomination factory are going to stick around longer than the more than likely slight difference in percentage.

But hey like I said, I couldn’t do it honestly. Seems like a terrible way to play a video game.

Sweet, really?? Okay. I’ll be a bastion paladin with the night fae travel ability, with abomination factory as weekly/daily content.
Make it happen Ion!

I agree OP this covenant stuff just triggers FOMO bad.

Venthyr have a nice mog and story I’m interested in. Their abilities suck though.

Necrolords also have an awesome mog and characters I like, but I really wanted to try the abomination factory. Ability is meh.

Night Fae have nice zone and strong abilities but not as interested in the first two lore-wise.

Kyrian have 100% the best ability but I don’t identify with the covenant at all.

If I could have Necrolord abomination, xmog and soulbind with Venthyr lore and Kyrian/Night Fae abilities I’d be happy.

I want to be Venthyr, with Kyrian ability, Night Fae travel and Necrolord Abomination Factory.

This is why you get 3 other alts to do the other covenant campaigns. Gives plenty to do with all the timegating.

I just picked Necro on my mage coz having a second body guard (frost mage ftw) to protect my vulnerable little clothie will be insanely handy.

But more importantly, the dudes in Maldraxxus are badass and I already made my mind up I was gonna pick them as soon as I started questing in that zone.

people telling you pick what you want most likely sit around talking politics in /2 and playing ah
some of us want to raid and mythic plus lol

I want to be Night Fae but I’m stuck with Kyrian on Holy Paladin.

I think this thread says a lot about happiness versus success. How many players are willing to sacrifice being happy while playing a video game just to squeak out some extra DPS?

How can someone be happy without success?

Play the covenant you like.
Your friend misled you about your spot for Mythic raid team and you aren’t going to be raiding Mythic anyway.

It depends on the succuess we are talking about. There is a difference between getting a better paying job for better quality of life, and doing the dirty job nobody wants to do for slight notoriety with the boss.

sorry i dont play with plebs who i can beat in dps as worse spec and go ‘’ my spec is fine im beating the worse players of all the op classes’’

maybe you do find a better guild imo

So you chose ability over factory and the consequence of that choice is you don’t have the factory working as intended.

Don’t be dumb

I don’t know if you know this but for hunters the night fae ability is an orbital bombardment and the necro ability does slightly more damage than a aimed shot if the aimed shot doesn’t crit

Why? he has both the ability and factory ? was it not working as intended ? whats the point of the thread then

Play what you want, the abomination factory is why I went Necro, not their abilities.
