I Realized Why Battleground Are Lost - Slaps Forehead

Every single battleground I’ve been in that we’ve lost had a guy who said in BG chat something to the effect of, “YOU GUYS ALL SUCK!”

Every…single…battleground that I’ve been in that we lost.

That guy is absent from BGs where we’ve won.

The only logical explanation is, the dude who is shouting disparaging things at the BG group MUST be the reason for losing.

So, create a macro that states, “/bg HEY YOU! Yeah the one saying we all suck. YOU are the common denominator in ALL losing BGs. YOU are the reason we lost.”

I hate that guy in pvp and pve. He is usually the lowest performing one as well because he is too busy typing at others and telling them they suck. :smirk:

He must be compensating for something.

Doesn’t that guy usually only start complaining about everyone sucking after the team starts to lose?

There might be a cause and effect issue here.

  • You’re thinking that because someone is complaining the team sucks, that causes the team to suck.
  • But it might be the other way around. It could be the team sucking that causes someone to then complain about how the team sucks.

I always state my mind. And I am never the carry.

No! He starts doing it like 3 minutes into the BG and periodically throughout.

If I see a 200K hp player, I’m calling them out

this must happen while you are on your alliance toon. while someone does always say it, most are thinking it. it’s just happened to be that idiot who couldn’t wait, and then you think, “good, now i don’t have to say it, and be that idiot”

I gotta simple rule;

If you’ve got time to type during a run, than you ain’t playing the game.

The only thing you should be typing is “INCOMING LUMBER MILL!!!”

Yesterday I came into a loosing battleground with horde ahead, and they were camping the alliance graveyard to boot. About half of the team were new incoming since half left. We didn’t give up and actually won the match. It was so great to pay back graveyard campers that couldn’t even bother with capping another flag for a quick win. They wanted to troll the alliance team rather than winning and lost. LOL.

I hate it when players give up.

Not on topic, but so great.

Projection at it’s best…

Of course if you are winning there’s nobody saying that you suck. You’re winning. :stuck_out_tongue:

A bad team loses because they are bad. Not because someone is calling them out for being bad.

I love those awesome comebacks too. But you have to admit that they are unfortunately quite rare.

Well… it just wouldn’t be right to make someone into a liar. That just wouldn’t be nice at all, so once I hear that I have no choice but to lose.

If the team didn’t suck, there would be no one complaining…mind blown.

BGs/PvP is the same as PvE, if your team or group is bad, it’s gonna show. I’ve lost count on how many times I’ve been in bgs with only 1-2 kills on my team and no one goes for the objectives.

Ok something happened today, like 30 minutes ago, that proves my point. We started off shaky in that one BG where you grab orbs and go into the middle. We were down like 600-300. One guy said in BG about how we all suck and that he was tops in DPS. He then quit the BG. We ended up winning that one with all four orbs in mid…final was like 1500-900.

I always yell “Has anyone seen my underwear?”

eh, I don’t think you’re getting the full, authentic random BG experience unless you have some loser ranting in BG chat.

They’re super fun to mess with though.

But, it doesn’t help overall moral, maybe they could have mustered up the courage for one last push that could have gotten the momentum moving in their direction, but then you see some twerp yelling how everyone sucks and no one knows what they are doing and etc… Then it just takes the drive right outta everyone. Boosting moral is ALWAYS more effective than diminishing it.
