I ran out of mana in an arena as an affliction warlock

I couldnt cast fear in an arena because I RAN OUT OF MANA. how is something like this in the game right now?

ahhh the good old days in 10.0 where my devoker basically had infinite mana and i would kite geeks literally cross the entire map in AV/IOC and then kill them lol. sii was so fun. then they nerfed the mana regen =(

Some dps specs have their utility designed around their mana. This is indeed a thing. Idk what takes mana on lock but it’s possibly you overused something

Spriest for example has a limit on how much it can spam shield and flash heal. Sometimes you have to save mana for mass dispel

Enhance shamans healing is essentially on a mana timer, ele as well etc

Fairly sure drain life/fear is super expensive as affliction

Purges and de-curses are also expensive.
