I quit lol

i dunno, i just couldn’t take it anymore. i got to 60, am in a good guild that is getting serious about their times on MC runs, everyone is getting geared, loot is being spread evenly. i got my epic weapon and several pieces of tier 1 armor.

but i just can’t do it. it feels like a chore to drag myself on for raid times. it feels like a chore to do onyxia even though it takes 20 people and 5 minutes. what’s the point? i played back in vanilla, i think my nostalgia trip is about over now. world pvp gankfest stuff is fun for a while i guess. the whole game is now just farm MC, farm onyxia, grind or play an alt. when BWL comes out it will be the same thing, grind BWL, start getting more gear, also continue to farm MC and ony.

i just cant do it so i stopped logging on entirely. my guild is probably pissed at me. i haven’t been on discord. i’ve missed two MCs and however many ony runs fit in between that for us. i burned out…or the end game just isn’t fun like i remembered from the first time. dk. whatever. long live rhokdelar.

Imagine burning out after 2 and a half months lmfao

sounds like you feel guilty for flaking on your guild instead of having the nuts to tell them you were quitting

The Retail mentality of making the whole game about raiding is naturally going to burn you out, which is definitely what you ended up doing. Man/woman up and tell your guildies how you’re feeling. If they’re normal, decent people, they will understand. It’s just a game in the end, man. There’s so much more you could be doing instead of stressing out over raiding.

If you return, try something new. Classic is about making your own fun, after all. Try out a weird build. Level a class that’s completely different from your main. Mess around in world PvP. Help out your lowbie friends/guildies. Go fishing. Max out cooking and First Aid. Heck, even do some random RP even if you’re not on an RP server. The World of Pre-Cata Warcraft is your oyster.

Says Ecofash the Level 10 Night Elf Druid.

Did you mean 60 years old? Because… “Okay, boomer.”

Expect a lot more of these threads as more and more people come back to reality, then quit.

Imagine playing a game based on delayed gratification and long term investment then crying about how the game isn’t fun after 2 months

i have like 450 gold on heart seeker alliance.

It’s very easy to understand since Classic doesn’t have much to offer after 60 lvl yet.
Some people are already walking in BIS and if not, they can’t do much more cause of how demanding this game to free time is.

I was in two separate MC raids and couldn’t get further than Baron Geddon. Cause raid is freaking 4 hours long till this boss and raids starts right after I walk in from work.
But even if so. Raids are the same choirs as in Retail. Except that they are dumb and easy. if people understand strat there is almost nothing to do: just stand and press one-two buttons most of the time and even if half of the raid dead you still can manage it.

I’m waiting for the next phase, cause PvE phase is dead almost immediately, and it prolongs only by utter garbage drop rate (I literally had third item I needed form dungeons and raids runs throughout 1.5 months which I spent running those days and days over and over right after hitting 60).

I hope Blizzard will eventually bring back retail to Vanilla balance, so it would be hard and meaningful, but Classic isn’t perfect game where you can do a lot of stuff. Most of the time some people just sitting at major cities spamming LFG.

All you people are pure cancer lol. One dude doesn’t enjoy end game and feels burned out and you all crucify him like it’s blasphemy to feel so.

I was wondering that!

People are so predictable, can’t even make it through phase 2 without whining for more and more. Who cares if you have the best gear? Why tf would you get the best gear if you are going to quit once you have it? The whole purpose of getting the best gear is to use it…
