No you cannot have my stuff and I know you dont care.
GRINDS The amount of endless boring grinds is insulting. Having to login to do dailies every day just do M+ PVP or raid shouldn’t be the way it is.
BORROWED POWER. Just stop. Return the power of the player into the class and its selected roles. No more azerite, covenents, essences or corruption.
GCD. For the love of god Legion combat was the best combat Ive ever experienced in a MMO. It was fast, furious and fun. Now WAY to many classes have spend several GCDs doing nothing except activating abilities.
Flying. You really are a stubborn when it comes to this. You almost killed your game off completely in WOD and instead settled to only partially ruin it. Flying at level cap with out the massive grind or arbitrary wait needs to be implemented immediately.
BALANCE For a company that is supposed to be the pinnacle of MMORPGs you sure do drop ball here. You refuse to even have a moderate level of balance even in live content. Do you have no one there responsible for the mathematics involved? Abilities having to be nerfed or buffed by 1000s of % is an unfathomable level of negligence.
ABOVE ALL
You fail to respond to any of this and continue to ignore the players and the community that have put more hours into this game than your entire company combined multiplied by millions.
I can get on board with most of your other complaints at least to some degree. This one however I would really like to see how you would achieve what you are asking for. There are 36 different specs in the game. There is casual play vs serious play, pve vs pvp, raiding vs m+, etc. With all the different things you can do in this game how should Blizzard be able to balance everyone equally? No matter what they do, a spec will be better or worse than another spec at X task. Of course you could just remove specs and classes and just make sure everyone is the exact same… that would achieve the balance you are asking for but I get the feeling that is not what you intended.
A 14 yr old player won’t do a 4 day grind lol, neutral to revered with 4 factions that I had no interest in grinding in took me 4 days(probably 45 mins each of those days) with the rep boost. WoW has always had grinding, get over it.
Its the massive differences Im talking about. Also specs get left in the dust for entire expansions or more.
They need separate values for PVP, RAID and M+ Too many times does a spec perform too good in raid and the subsequent nerfs destroy its already partial viability in M+
It takes almost a year to get flying after a expansion drops. This “4 day grind” you speak of is hyperbole nonsense.
That is correct I will be trying Shadowlands. However as of it right it doesnt look like anything is being addressed and my time there will be very short lived which makes me sad.
While there are a lot of things to grind they aren’t for everyone. I like M+ and raiding so I don’t run every daily or do islands every week. You don’t have to login everyday there are weeks I raidlog on my raid char and just play the key char.
I agree, I like the idea of covenants giving flavor or something helpful but the goal is they don’t make up more than say 15% of my DPS… Unless the abilities are fun in which case I support borrowing the power.
I like the way the GCD is now. I like having time to press buttons without spamming like a madman. Hope it stays.
4.I don’t think Pathfinder is a big deal but of course I don’t do dailies everyday so I also got it a month or 2 after everyone else. I get the point of it and support having a pathfinder system but would enjoy it being made at x.1 patch release.
Hahahah. There are so many classes/races/specs with so many types of content I find this funny. Yeah they may have had to hotfix something a week after because the tuning was bad but for the most part classes are balanced well enough. The problem with balance is say you put out new tuning patches every week for the first 3 weeks. Well only mythic racers will actually have a chance to be fully geared. So then 2 months after release you will need to balance for 3 weeks again. That kind of late balancing makes people upset as they reroll to min-max.
Goodbye and hope you find something else you enjoy.
Can’t blame him. I’ve been playing almost the same amount of time, I’m frankly just burned out on the pathfinder stuff. The crazy time gating needs to be taken out at least.
I do agree that they should release pathfinder part 2 at the beginning of the xpac or just make it so that when you get pathfinder part 1 you get to fly in the base zones(zandalar and kul tiras) and pathfinder 2 should let you fly in the new zones (mechagon and nazjatar) are you talking about the releases or how much rep you have to grind? I agree that the release times are a problem that’s why I just waited till the end to start grinding.
Dailies have been in the game forever. And you don’t have to do them to raid? Revered isn’t hard to reach for Rank 3 of the new essences, and after that you’re done. I haven’t done dailies on this guy in weeks and raid just fine.
This I agree with, this needs to be toned back heavily.
Yeah, some classes this feels really bad with the GCD change. I wish Blizzard would revisit and revert this…
Eh, I disagree with this. Flight needs to come with X.1, or X.2 needs to not be so much later and should definitely not have a time gated reputation grind associated with it, but Pathfinder (in my opinion) is a better system.
Yeah, no, balance is a forever fight. 36 specs; 6 tanks, 5 healers, 25 DPS (I think I counted right) and people want more. Balancing will always be a nightmare, especially as they add to the game or as numbers change. It’s not negligence and it’s honestly insulting to call it that. You can’t just make a game and expect to never have to tweak anything, especially if you’re adding new armor or trinkets or even spells to the game. This complaint shows an unfathomable misunderstanding of game design.
While I agree that they’ve been awful with communication, Shadowlands has seen quite impressive communication. And just because they see complaints does not mean they always agree with them. They’re making a game for people to play, and many arm chair designers can claim that they’re making a huge mistake. But WoW is still a 15 year old game that’s going strong, and there’s something to be said about that. And while I do agree with them making major mistakes, the game is still in a pretty solid space. I hope they continue this level of communication going into Shadowlands and beyond because that would be nice.
This is specifically my entire problem with Pathfinder. The wait for .2 is long, arbitrary, and entirely pointless. Release Pathfinder either immediately upon completion of the Part One achievement or as soon as patch x.1 launches.
Well the good news is, you guys can just mute these threads and never see them again instead of complaining that people are coming to Blizzard’s forums to give them feedback about their game.
