Reasons 0 attention to the PVP balance.
In my case, the Warlock Affliction, A friend’s DKs, and Hunter Surv. etc…
Supposedly buff UA dispell but the numbers remain the same and I could mention a long list of Bugs that I reported many times along with other Locks in the 3 Warlock specs but… You can see that in the Warlock forums.

Survival hunter is very good tho
dog dmg, The reality is no, between 30% and 40% of the damage is done to pets, not players. Realistically, the Warlock doesn’t have burst pressure because it’s dispellable, and he’s constantly in CC silence, micro, stun, etc.
most of the time the damage is only 2 dots Agony and Corruption, as soon as UA and Haunt come in, the dispell comes, the instant SB do not do pressure because at most it is 1m dmg (imagine casting 40 SB and only 1 was a 1.3m crit) Haunt can reach 1.7m but the obligation is that you have Agony Corruption and UA for Haunt to hit that. and since everything is inside the GC it takes 3.8 seconds to be able to do 3m of damage, The problem is that after casting the haunt comes the dispell and the SB is 300 to 350k. and again wait 30 seconds to stack Agony
This is a forum, quite literally the place for player feedback on why they may be upset about the game, or why they enjoy the game
I strongly dislike posts like these, or posts like “can I have your gold pls” whenever as a community we should be trying to listen and uplift comments that discuss dissatisfaction with the game.
These posts are not “Announcing their departure”.
They’re a cry for help. As a community, we should be better.

I never told OP he wasn’t allowed to vent. I didn’t report the thread to be closed or anything. I never tried to stop him from venting, I literally just made a silly joke. Find a sense of humor my guy, lighten up.

I think biggest locks problem is agony. 18 stacks top long, in a game where everyone pops CDs first few globals into arena.
Wither is deadly it can tick up 750k but by itself with average damage around 260k a tick. Agy gets up 400k a tick with average of 80k dmg a tick because of ramp up /dispell problem.

Well I am rather short, so lots of things go over my head. On the bright side flying coach is relatively comfy for me.
Real talk my intention was not to derail, or dissuade anyone from venting. It was just a silly joke that made me chuckle and maybe would tickle someone else, that’s literally it.
You and the other jumping down my throat and personally attacking me for some reason is what’s derailing if anything. If y’all had just rolled your eyes at my “bad joke” and moved on no derail would happen.

Yall let’s be real. He doesn’t have any gold. I get it, but seriously, relax.
However, he is DEFINITELY fried and makes zero sense about the UA dispell nonsense. Dispelling it is still a very harsh penalty.

I played it a little bit yesterday on my wpvp+2pcs tier geared affy in some BGs to farm that conq bar, and it was ok damage. I haven’t played it in a while, so I suck at it rn.
I put my lock on the shelf a few months when I saw a disc dispel all my whole kit on CD like it was nothing, so I was happy to see some changes to improve the backlash mechanic.
I don’t think we can say they are not doing anything for class balance since we just had a class tuning patch drop yesterday.
Affliction struggles are likely due the the meta with what is strong and heavily played right now.
The spec itself seems fine, it’s just having a hard time with what it is queuing into at the moment. Its success is driven by the meta more than others.

I’ve been pretty active on the arena forums since BFA with some breaks in between and I’ve done and seen a LOT to help players.
I learned a ton through this place and try to give that back when I can. Every single time I see a player genuinely ask a question or look for help, they’re frequently met with positive responses. For me personally I’m a r1/multiclass multiglad player and i do free vod reviews for anyone who posts their games here!
The OP here, however, is not asking for help. Zaceky has played over 3000 games this season across four characters ranging from a 30 to 50% winrate at 16-1800 cr on disc, frost mage, and warlock.
In their posting history they have demanded defensive buffs to warlocks and nerfs to melee and refused to engage in any reasonable discussion to the contrary.
This post is not a cry for help. This post is a thread made in reaponse to two separate posts saying, “buff warlock or im cancelling my sub!”
I’m sure a lot of people feel the same way as OP, but I don’t think that we, as a community, should take posts like this one seriously.
If a child said that he needed to change the rules so he could win or he would quit playing, would you treat that as a “cry for help” or dismiss it as the childish outcry that it is?

Unfortunately this place isn’t as good in that respect as it once was. That said, it’s not for lack of people willing to offer help. The mentality of players has changed a bit, especially with the introduction of solo content. While I have really enjoyed the solo aspect of the game, we have really lost something that group content fosters, and that is mostly accountability. That just naturally comes when playing in a group.
So instead we have posters accusing 1600 players of win trading and just loads of bot threads and whatever other accusations players want to conjure up. NOT that there isn’t a place for some of that, but there are so few threads of people just asking for help rather than doubling down that it’s anything but them.
