I play with MMO gaming mouse, and I use 1-9 in the mouse and shift+1-9 in the mouse. Does anyone else play like this? Recommendations for other keybinds or should I use the keyboard more (I only use it for movement and shift)

I use 1-+, Shift+ 1-+ and alt or ctrl 1-+ if needed. And keyboard just like you do for movement and access to shift, alt and ctrl

i use a mouse with 2 side buttons and a wheel. I don’t think I would like so many buttons on the mouse.

i primarily use the mouse to move. i removed turning from the keyboard but I still have forward, back peddle and strafe still on the keyboard.

I have most of my abilities on 1-5 and then letters around the w/s section of the keyboard. i use e,f,d,g,h with shift and ctrl modifiers.

there are still some action bars items that I don’t have keybound. they are usually on the top and right of the top-most action bar line.

I sort of treat the key board as my left hand and my mouse as my right hand. it makes sense to me :slight_smile:

Z, X , C, Q, E, R + shift variants, also have mouse wheel up and down + shift up and down. +1-7 i use a moba mouse so 7 keys.

I use 1-9 and the two center buttons on my mouse, but only for utility/non-essential stuff like pet control/summons and whatnt.

I try mouse wheel up and down, but I was going crazy trying to zoom in/out

Only takes a few days, i always bind mobility spells to it, pally mouse up is freedom, mouse down charger. Then zoom in and out bound to arrow up and arrow down.

1-5 Z,X,F,E,R,Q,G - for years, my R has always been my interrupt :rofl:
Damage buffs: Shift + Q, Shift + E, Shift + R
Other: Ctrl + Q, Ctrl + E, Ctrl + R
Emergency: Scroll wheel: Shift + scroll down, Shift + scroll up, Shift + button 4
Also important to mention, autorun button 4 as default.

I’ve got a 12-button thumbpad myself, and that’s the whole action bar covered. One bar for the numbers, one bar for shift, one bar for ctrl. Plus a fourth bar with stuff that I’ll just click when I need it.

My keybinds were a nightmare before I got one of these things back in MoP.

still use my Naga razr epic from MoP. 12 buttons. Depending on class i got all the alt, ctrl, and shift mods plus i have q,e,r,s,f,z,c,v and some shift variations of those as well.

and caps lock has been my kick buttons since forever. sorry if i ever caps spam in a dungeon ><

and mousewheel scroll… probably several more i am forgetting

I have a 12 button mouse. Without it I’d be one of the worst players on the planet. I don’t have the hand dexterity to actually use keybinds. It’s actually hard for me to even hit shift so I stick to ctrl+1-12 anything I don’t regularly use I actually click.

I have no disability I’m actually a former D2 athlete who is still in great shape idk how you people play on a keyboard

I have a 12 button Mouse. Was like a $30 basic MMO mouse from Logitech. I can’t play games without it anymore and I love it. I also have a Redragon Gamepad, but that’s just a left half of the keyboard that’s more comfortable.

I use 1-4 on the keyboard/keypad, and assigned 5-0 on the front 6 buttons. I use those, plus the Shift Varients as well as Q, E, F, and R (And shift+those) and lastly, Mouse scroll up and down for Targeted on the ground abilities or Frontal cone attacks like Shockwave.

I use this for all games, and all MMOs specially. And I STILL often find I don’t have enough. I can’t use CTRL as that’s my push to talk button, has been for 20 years and that ain’t changing any time soon :stuck_out_tongue:

I simply cannot use an MMO mouse but I do use the side buttons on my mouse as modifiers. CTRL, SHIFT, ALT etc

im left handed so i appreciate having most of the keybinds on the keyboard. if i was right handed id probably hate left hand keybinds :slight_smile:

i prefer a heavy set of keybinds on the left hand and just a basic g502 for mouse.

i had a couple nagas, always end up not using most of them buttons.
i dont like that my screen shakes when i press side buttons on naga while controlling the camera.

i notice it from streamers too. i have a hard time watching bahjeera because his screen flicks slightly everytime he presses a mouse button lol

Use the keyboard too.

I use an MMO mouse, 1-6, shift, and q e r for my setup. The mouse buttons are bound to f1-12

I play with a 12-button mouse, and I use unmodified, shift, and control for all 12 buttons. I still use the keyboard for movement and a few utility keybinds. I main restoration, and it’s just been much easier for me to have quicker response times for mouseover (most of my healing is done via mouseover) using the mouse buttons.

Lots of people play with a gaming mouse. Some prefer a game pad or the keyboard, but it’s all about preference.

Mine’s got 12 buttons on the side. Like others have said, I have the normal buttons plus shift & ctrl bars bound. I actually don’t use my ctrl bar, though I probably should. Luckily Ret doesn’t really need more than 24 easily-accessible buttons.

I also bind my abilities to specific buttons depending on how easy it is for my thumb to reach them without needing to move too much. Movement/mobility always on 11, emergency heals on 10, bursts on 8, interrupts on 5, etc.
