It’s not a take, it’s facts.
Go speak with a pro WoW player who actually plays WoW competitively.
Someone in Limit or something like that.
Watch every single video if you want to.
Not a single competitive gamer plays a PC game like WoW on a TV. None of them.
I’m sure some have tried, and got kicked off for being absolutely terrible with reaction and response times.
Go watch any major competitive pc gaming event and then go watch any console competitive gaming event.
ALL pc gamers are using smaller monitors.
You think they just cant afford TV’s for PC gamers but they can for console gamers?
No. They dont even pay for any of that stuff. Companies like Samsung will sponsor the gaming event and provide top of the line equipment, so they can put up advertisements in their streams and on banners at the event.
If it’s free, why would they choose a cheap small monitor over a big fancy TV?
It’s because duh.
Call of Duty works great on a TV because you have like 5 buttons to press overall including the pause button on a CONTROLLER, and the entire interface and all text in the game is designed for a tv.
WoW is not designed for a TV. Have you ever even looked at a 55 inch screen in 4k?
The icons are so small you have to be inches away from the screen to even be able to read your icons.
Now wow on the other hand, must be played with a mouse, and you have to accurately click things constantly. Quests. Players. Enemies. Etc. The input lag from a pc to a TV is so large that what you see in the screen is delayed from your actual inputs. So you are effectively seeing the past on your monitor, and you have to mentally adjust to compensate for the input lag, on top of already being so far away you cant even see what you are clicking in the first place.
I’ve already done it. With a top of the line TV that’s better for pc gaming that 99% of TV’s on the market, and it’s still terrible.
You can sit on your couch and be terrible at the game and pay for carries every expansion on a big screen tv because you and your guild can’t complete anything on your own because of your terrible gaming configuration.
But if you want to actually be “good” at playing the game and not have to pay other players to be good for you with tokens and gold, you gotta eliminate the obvious factors that are inhibiting your gameplay.
Or just ignore basic physics/science and refuse to acknowledge basic fundamental facts with endless evidence to support it and keep telling yourself you’re a pro gamer as you buy another wow token to pay for the next AOTC mount from people who play on a monitor at a desk in a chair and not slouched back on some couch dropping your keyboard and mouse between your legs every 5 minutes and fighting constantly to get your laser mouse to work on a fluffy couch cushion, just to click the icon you can’t see which was the wrong icon, so you “accidentally” popped bloodlust and completely wasted the run/pull.
