Repeat after me: allied races are not the same as core races. Allied races are repeats of races already in the game pretty much for customization or added racials. They don’t have the same things as core races.
By the way, you used to have to have rep to get faction mounts and things like that. Core races do have reps tied to them, but Blizz made them useless.
